Attachment Icicles were planned to be a hazard in the Ice Grave area of the game, but they were cut as Cruise Elroy thought that the area's wind and ice physics were enough to make the area challenging. Sprites for the icicles were produced, however.

Attachment Unused power-ups include an hourglass to slow down the Venom Brigade and a potion which would shrink them and render them harmless for a short time. They were scrapped due to being too similar to the final game's pickaxe powerup, but sprites for them were produced.

The game's unlockable palettes and Practice Mode stemmed after Cruise Elroy added "perfect bonuses" to the game, as he wanted to give players more incentive to try to perfect every level. To this end, Practice Mode was added to avoid players having to replay the entire campaign from the start to reach a level they wanted to perfect.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
1
Many Nickelodeon fans noticed a significant omission of characters from the series The Fairly OddParents in Nickelodeon crossovers starting in 2008's SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom, which was the final installment in the Nicktoons Unite! series where Fairly OddParents protagonist Timmy Turner had previously been part of the main ensemble cast. The reasoning for this is believed to be due to Nelvana, a Canadian distributor of children's content, holding the international licensing rights and copyright for the first 5 seasons of the show outside of the US, having used this to syndicate the cartoon on the rivaling Disney Channel.

Timmy Turner did later appear in the 2022 Apple Arcade game Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis. In response to a tweet speculating that this could lead to Fairly OddParents content appearing in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, the community manager for the latter game Thaddeus Crews posted a "heads-in-the-clouds" emoji. A playtester for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 alleged that the legal issues with The Fairly OddParents are so complicated and strung-out that a former Nickelodeon or Nelvana employee was gifted the copyright to Timmy Turner's pink hat design as a farewell gift.

Company: Cruise Elroy

Cruise Elroy, the internet pseudonym for the creator of Annalynn, is derived from a terminology used by high-level Pac-Man players for an AI trait where Blinky will gain speed after a certain amount of pellets are eaten.
Pac-Man

Attachment The board for Pac-Man contains a DIP switch titled "Alternate Ghost Names", which in the Japanese release contained early English names for the ghosts:

• Urchin "Macky" (Shadow "Blinky")
• Romp "Micky" (Speedy "Pinky")
• Stylist "Mucky" (Bashful "Inky")
• Crybaby "Mocky" (Pokey "Clyde")

In the US release, these names were dummied out and replaced with strings of the first 8 letters of the Latin alphabet.
WWE 2K22

Attachment During the game's roster reveal in 2022, an image for WWE Superstar Elias featured him in an outfit that he had never been seen in. At the time, Elias had not been seen in WWE for 9 months as they had planned to re-package him in a new gimmick, but the new gimmick was deemed, "too Macho Man" and was scrapped. The render was likely made during this time, and shows what his outfit would have atleast looked like.

This render would eventually be changed in the final game, with him still using his musician gimmick. Elias would later return to WWE as "Ezekiel" (the younger brother of Elias) with a clean shaven face, shorter hair, and the same outfit seen in this early render.

Attachment The first appearance of a yellow, spherical character named "Puck-Man" with a ravenous appetite was a 1974 bank toy by Tomy, which came in a variety of colors including yellow. It is unknown if the video game character was plagiarized or Pac-Man's design similarities are all a bizarre coincidence, with game creator Toru Iwatani claiming in an unrelated court hearing to have not heard of the toy until after the release of the game. No legal action was taken by Tomy, and the 1970's Tomy Puck-Man toys would be rebranded with Namco's Pac-Man after the success of the game.

The Game Boy Advance Video "Shrek and Shark Tale" and "Shrek and Shrek 2" double packs, both containing two 1 hour 30 minute movies each, are the largest ROMs in the Game Boy Advance library at 64 megabytes, and achieved this by compressing the films to 240 pixels by 112 pixels, and using a special memory chip.
Talking Tom Cat
2
The original model of Talking Tom was downloaded from the model-purchasing website TurboSquid, and was taken off of the site following the popularity of the app. Since Talking Tom Cat used FMV videos and later Talking Friends games used a custom model, the original Tom model is now considered lost media.
BFDIA 5b

During YouTuber Ni Hao Guylan's Let's Play of BFDIA 5b, he struggled on an early version of Level 29. Shortly after the video was uploaded, Cary Huang commented on the video that he "made level 29 a bit easier". Based on the dates for both the original video and Cary's comment, this would suggest that the final update for BFDIA 5b was released on June 5, 2013.

Attachment At Spaceworld 2000, after Shigeru Miyamoto showed off a tech demo for a GameCube controller prototype he revealed another variant of the Gamecube controller called the "Wavebird". This Wavebird prototype design looked like a missing link between the design of the Virtual Boy controller and the GameCube controller, having long and slender handles like the Virtual Boy but being much bulkier everywhere else like the GameCube controller. It did end up matching the final design of the default GameCube controller.
Five Nights at Freddy's

Attachment In a 2018 interview with YouTuber Dawko, Scott Cawthon was asked how he came up with the original designs of the animatronics. Cawthon answered with:

"The main 3 characters Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica. Those designs just kind of [...] I didn't really plan ahead like what animals they should be. Those three just kind of seemed natural to me for some reason. You know, the only one I really struggled with was trying to think of the fourth character. [...] I'm trying to remember all the options that I'd originally was kind of debating between. I mean, one of the contenders was a fox obviously which ended up winning. The other one was a wolf, and the other one was going to be a beaver. But then later I decided against that, because I thought that was too on-the-nose from Chipper so I decided against that."

Attachment At Spaceworld 2000 during the unveiling of the GameCube, there were five models that came from backstage each one holding a uniquely colored GameCube, the hot pink color never seeing an official release. Each GameCube featured a small window cut into the jewel (black circular disk atop the GameCube) allowing for the player to see the disk and disk tray. These prototypes do not actually function as they were made just to be shown at Spaceworld 2000.

Fortnite
2
Attachment When the Street Fighter skin set was released for Fortnite, a back bling of an arcade machine was released that would show attract mode footage from Street Fighter II. Coinciding with this, a texture was found in the data, under the name "FrenchFry" showing animation from Family Guy in a similar format. While many believed this confirmed that Peter Griffin was planned to be featured in the game alongside a back bling that would show Family Guy clips, it was later stated by a reputable Fortnite leaker named FNBRUnreleased that the Family Guy content could've only been added for one of two reasons: to annoy dataminers, or to internally test the Street Fighter graphics in a humorous way.

Griffin would eventually be added to Fortnite in Chapter 5. To coincide with his addition, a video titled "Peter Griffin Seeks Fitness Advice From Meowscles" was released: animated in the same style as "Family Guy", it features Griffin getting a fitness exam from Fortnite character Meowscles, ending with him drinking an expired bottle of Slurp Juice in order to become "swole", explaining his design in the game. The expiration date on the Slurp Juice is a reference to the date when the leak originally happened, and the trailer also used the leaked back bling. Despite appearing to be animated by Family Guy's animation department, the video noticeably does not feature any spoken dialogue, or voice acting by Family Guy creator and Griffin's voice actor Seth MacFarlane.

Garten of Banban
1
Attachment Garten of Banban has been noted for poor optimization in its 3D modelling, with the game's models containing absurdly high polygon counts relative to their simplistic designs. The most infamous example of this is a small geometric remote control made up of 184,332 triangles, which is seen for the entirety of the game.
Super Smash Flash 2
1
Attachment MissingNo, a glitched Pokémon from the Generation I Pokémon games, at one point appeared as a Poké Ball summon in Super Smash Flash 2. It would cover the screen with a fake Microsoft Windows Blue Screen of Death.

This character was removed due to its attack being too convincing and fooling full-screen players into thinking their game actually crashed, as well as MissingNo not officially being a canonical Pokémon.
Cabbage

1
There was a game by the name of Cabbage which was to be developed and released for the Nintendo 64DD, an expansion peripheral for the Nintendo 64. The project was helmed by Shigesato Itoi, creator of the Mother series, with other big name developers eventually being added on to help finish the project. Even with this help it would never see the light of day. It was said by Shigeru Miyamoto that, "the conversations and design techniques that popped up when we were making Cabbage are, of course, connected to Nintendogs and other things that we're doing now." Those "other things" most likely referring to Animal Crossing as it used many of the base elements said to have been made for Cabbage including the internal clock feature of the N64DD. To this day there are no known screenshots, videos, or demos of this cancelled game.

At Spaceworld 2000, Shigeru Miyamoto showed off a tech demo for a project he had been working on for a number of years known as Mario 128. This project had a tumultuous development cycle with little to no details coming out over the years until finally in 2007 at a GDC Keynote he revealed what came of this laborious project. He explained that some parts of the project were used to make Pikmin and other parts of the project were utilized in Super Mario Galaxy.
