Because the developers were still experimenting with Double Battles where the player teams up with an NPC ally to fight two NPC opponents, this lead to a glaring oversight during the battle where the player joins with Steven Stone to battle Maxi and Tabitha where, during the battle, Steven's Level 42 Metang can actually gain a substantial amount of EXP simultaneously with the player's own Pokémon. This essentially means that, with careful manipulation, the player can have the ally Metang get enough EXP to grow to Level 43. This so far is the only instance in the entire Pokémon main series where, in a non-scripted battle, an NPC's Pokémon can gain EXP and level up.

Attachment In Greenflower Zone Act 1, there is a house in the upper section of the level next to a lake. If the player has all 200 Emblems, this house will have a note on it thanking the player for keeping the game alive.

This house belongs to the in-universe persona of RedXVI, an old member of the Sonic fangame community who had significant influence over Sonic Robo Blast 2's development.

The location of this note is a reference to Version 1.09 of the game, where an Easter egg was hidden on the very same house. In this version, jumping on the house would cause RedXVI to come out and send the player to an early work-in-progress version of Red Volcano Zone Act 1 if the player jumped on the house repeatedly after beating the game three times.

Attachment Eek! the Cat has been noted for having an unusually dark color palette that makes the graphics hard to read. This is not the result of a faulty brightness register, but simply how the game's palettes are stored in the code. Marketing materials for the game show screenshots that are much brighter in palette and closer to both the game's original form as Sleepwalker and its cartoon source material, meaning that the palette error was likely a mistake made late in the game's development.

Attachment During the run-up to the game's release, SoBe aided the promotion by giving away a number of Oddworld-themed decorated goods, and Oddworld Inhabitants were able to return the favour by replacing a number of Health Up Vendos in the North American version with SoBe vending machines that function the same way. However, this lead to a number of fans thinking that Oddworld Inhabitants had sold out and refused to ever have any association with Oddworld ever again, resulting in them being removed entirely from the PAL versions of Munch's Oddysee. This removal even applied to all the re-releases of the game except for the PC and Switch versions, where the SoBe vending machines are retained in some of the levels.

According to developer George Fergan, there was a debate within the team on who should be the villain of the LCD handheld games: some wanted to use Mr. Crumb, while others wanted to use Mr. Crool. In the end, they decided to use both for different versions, with Mr. Crumb being used in the more powerful Tiger 99x version and Mr. Crool being used in the cheap LCD version.

Unusually, the render does not depict a generic CD, but rather depicts a disc made by PolyGram's CD manufacturing plant in North Carolina, as indicated by the silver disc hub and "MADE IN USA" stamp. The post-credits scene of the film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed has Scooby present the audience with a "Game Boy Advance Secret Code" for the tie-in video game of the film, the easily-guessable "SD2". This code is promoted as working with both the GBA and PC versions of the game and is prompted to be entered at the end of each port of the game.

In the GBA version, entering the code will reveal who the main culprit is. If it is not entered, the ending cutscene will cut off before the culprit is revealed as to prevent spoilers.

In the PC version, entering the code will instead trigger a bonus Dance the Fright Away minigame between the main villain and every member of Mystery, Inc.

Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party was originally intended as a game starring the cult ringtone mascot The Annoying Thing/Crazy Frog titled Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces, following the naming scheme of Crazy Frog Collectables: Art School. However, the bankruptcy of publisher Mercury Games resulted in the game being shelved, with developer Cypronia stepping in to publish the games themselves with an original Crazy Frog-inspired character in place of the license. As of version 1.3, after inputting a secret code on the Practice Mode select screen, "Mike%" is activated, which adds a timer to the game which stops once Mike is defeated. This is presumably a nod to the Mike% speedrunning category found on the game's page on Speedrun.com.

If this code is active while playing the game's final level, Mike is found sleeping in the corner of the boss room.
