Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga
1
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga has an anti-piracy feature activated if the game detects the PlayStation Portable's system firmware is illegitimate. During a match, the collisions for walls and some floors will be turned off at random points, occasionally causing players to clip through walls or fall out of bounds before respawning back at the starting location. Additionally, some bosses and enemies will not respawn if they fall off the map, making fights with them unwinnable.
Bubble Bobble Revolution
1
Attachment The initial US release of Bubble Bobble Revolution contained multiple large bugs, including palette errors and multiple instances of enemies not spawning or dying instantly. Round 30 of the game's boss does not summon, impeding players from progressing beyond that stage, rendering 70 of the game's 100 levels inaccessible. As compensation, replacement copies were provided to those who complained, along with a free copy of Rainbow Islands Revolution and a printed apology.

Action 52
1
Attachment Action 52 came with a leaflet explaining that the games Alfred and the Fetucini's[sic] and Jigsaw could only be unlocked by completing Ooze. In reality, the prior two games are not playable on NES hardware and the latter game is unwinnable.
Boku no Natsuyasumi
2
Opening Boku's Diary from the menu of a completed save file and continuing to the next day via a glitched button prompt will cause the game to continue past its end point and into August 32nd.

This date has no associated data in the files, but the game continues from one non-existent day to the next without crashing, instead inciting a series of glitches that affect where the player can go, the legibility of text onscreen, and what textures are applied to the character models.
Iji
subdirectory_arrow_right Ludosity (Company)
2
"Reallyjoel's Dad" is a name for a secret difficulty present in Ludosity games, introduced in an update to Iji, that makes games absurdly hard and sometimes even unbeatable. This originates from an in-joke based on a comment made by Ludosity developer reallyjoel on a YouTube video of Iji's final boss being beaten on the previously maximum "Ultimortal" difficulty, uploaded by Daniel Remar, another developer on Iji, saying "Bah, you're a noob. My dad can beat this on a much harder setting, no sweat."
Asterix and the Magic Cauldron
subdirectory_arrow_right Ardok the Barbarian (Game)
1
The Commodore 64 version of Asterix and the Magic Cauldron cannot be completed by normal means due to a bug that hides a piece of the magic cauldron behind a building. If you use the code "POKE 18014,14:POKE18015,152" you can finish the game and see the ending text:

By Touatis [sic] you have done it

In the Ardok the Barbarian version of the game, the name Toutatis is replaced with Odin.
Mr. Gimmick
1
Attachment The original Japanese version of Gimmick contains a unique anti-piracy response where, if the opening cutscene is tampered with, the player will not be able to access the secret final level and it will instead cut to a black screen saying "BLACK HOLE" in reference to the game Atlantis no Nazo. Contrary to popular belief, this was not intended as an anti-piracy method, but rather a failed attempt by game designer Tomomi Sakae to prevent his name from being removed from the opening credits. This trigger was neatly edited around its intended purpose, and was eventually removed in the Scandinavian release of the game, though Sakae's name was reinstated as an unused line of intro text.
Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes!
1
The first print of copies for Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes! contains a bug that makes the final level unbeatable. This was fixed in a later revision.
Chrome Dino
2
The Google Chrome dinosaur game is coded to conclude after playing for 17 million years straight, the same amount of time between the dinosaurs' evolution and extinction. This is, quite obviously, not realistically possible for any player.
Heathcliff: Frantic Foto
1
Heathcliff: Frantic Foto contains a glitch that hardlocks the game cartridge after passing Level 34. Replacement copies were provided to players who complained, but only made another 4 stages playable before hardlocking again.
