The Landmaster's appearance as Fox, Falco and Wolf's Final Smashes in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U is a composite of its appearances from Star Fox 64 and Star Fox Assault, maintaining the sharp and futuristic appearance it had in the latter, but still retaining traditional tank treads as seen in the former.
This particular design would eventually be implemented into the Star Fox series proper, beginning with the Landmaster's appearance in Star Fox 64 3D, and would be used again in Star Fox Zero.

In a 2002 interview with Takaya Imamura regarding Star Fox Adventures, in which he explains his reasoning for having the characters age over the eight years since Star Fox 64, Imamura had this to say:
Funnily enough, four years later, the "Goodbye Fox" ending in Star Fox Command shows Fox McCloud and Krystal settling down and having a son named Marcus, who then goes on to form an all new Star Fox team, comprising of Slippy's son, Peppy's granddaughter, and even Falco Lombardi, who takes Peppy's place as the older mentor of this new team.
"This time around the story is set 8 years in the future. Characters like Mario and Bowser never age, but I feel that Fox needs to change in various ways over time. Maybe 10 years from now, we'll have the same face we've always known, but the character is actually Fox's son."

For Star Fox 64 3D, Bill Grey's fighter craft in the Katina mission was redesigned to be closer in design to its appearance in Star Fox Command. It was probably also done to distinguish it from the other Cornerian Fighters present in the mission, which Bill's fighter looked identical to back in the original Star Fox 64.

Krystal has the unique distinction of being the only playable character in Star Fox Command to pilot two different spacecrafts and also sport two different attires depending on the route taken.
In some missions, primarily when she rejoins Star Fox, she wears a pink jumpsuit and pilots the CloudRunner. In other missions, primarily when she's hanging with Star Wolf, she wears a traditional Cornerian Defense Force attire with a flight jacket, scarf and helmet, and she pilots the Cornerian Fighter that Bill Grey also uses.

Print adverts for Zoop give the pieces in the game their own names:
• The olive-shaped green piece is called "Ganggreenus"
• The martini-glass-shaped purple piece is called "Martinicocki"
• The boomerang-shaped blue piece is called "Infectococci"
• The baby's-dummy-shaped orange piece is called "Lockjawbacilli"
• The yellow splat-shaped piece, used as a power-up in the game, is called "Fungusamungus"
• A spiral-shaped piece, not present in the game but resembling the spring power-ups, is called "Mosquitick"
It should be noted that the splat and spring pieces are given different names in the game's manual: "Color Bomb" and "Bonus Spring" respectively.
The patterned square pieces from the Game Boy version of the game do not have names.

When the game first launched, the servers failed due to the massive influx of players, making the game almost unplayable due to its online-only nature. The outages lasted for days after launch, causing the developers to address the issue in a livestream, without confirming whether or not the always-online game will receive an offline mode.

Outside of Tricky, the two dinosaur species from Star Fox Adventures that reappear (as corpses infected by the Aparoids) in Star Fox Assault's Sauria mission are of the ThornTail and HighTop tribes.
Strangely, while the ThornTails are mostly faithful enough to their Star Fox Adventures models, the HighTops differ, primarily in skin pattern and coloration, being presented as green in Assault as opposed to yellow/beige in Adventures.

The player characters in Cartoon Cartoon Summer Resort, as opposed to being established Cartoon Network characters, all originated from pilots featured in Cartoon Network's 2000 "The Big Pick" event, where viewers could vote on their favorite cartoon from a selection of pilots, with the most popular being made into a full series - Uncle Gus originated from "Uncle Gus", Longhair originated from "Longhair and Doubledome", Vivian originated from "Foe Paws", and Prickles the Cactus originated from "Prickles the Cactus".
Neither of the two pilots from the 2000 Big Pick that would be picked up as full Cartoon Cartoons (Whatever Happened to Robot Jones? and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy) were featured in Summer Resort.

During development, the mother of the game's lead designers Brian and Andrew Allanson was diagnosed with cancer, which eventually resulted in her death. This led the team to rework certain parts of the game's plot, aiming to have "a more 'humanistic' perspective" and "sand down some of the game's more cynical edges". By the end, nearly a quarter of the game had been remade, including a slight change to the game's ending.

Star Fox Adventures has (to say the least) a pretty infamous scene where Fox McCloud, upon visiting the rooftop of Krazoa Palace for the first time, sees the imprisoned and unconscious Krystal and becomes immediately infatuated with her at first sight, all while romantic saxophone music plays in the background.
According to the game's composer, David Wise, the saxophone music was a satirical tongue-in-cheek reference and nod to the Love Theme from the film "Blade Runner", which was composed by Vangelis. The music itself is a remix of the theme that was originally composed for Discovery Falls, an area from Dinosaur Planet that was cut in the transition to Star Fox Adventures, and thus can now be heard in Cape Claw in the final game.

In Banner Village, the side quest to recruit Tir McDohl is affected if the game imports save data from Suikoden. If the player imports a save file with the 108 Stars of Destiny recruited in the first game, Gremio will appear in the game starting with this side quest. However, in a developer interview published in the March 1999 issue of DenGeki PlayStation magazine, director Yoshitaka Murayama revealed that should you import a save file without recruiting all 108 Stars of Destiny, Ellie will replace Gremio in the Banner Village events of the side quest.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the first game in the "Batman: Arkham" series to not feature Batman as the main protagonist, though he does still appear in the game. At The Game Awards 2022, a trailer for the game was released which ended with a brief tribute to longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy, who passed away on November 10, 2022. Host Geoff Keighley then confirmed that Conroy would be voicing Batman "one final time" in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League; this game being Conroy's final performance as Batman was a major promotional point in online articles. However, on January 30, 2024, days prior to the game's release, IGN reported that there were two additional projects he recorded lines for as Batman prior to his death that would be released posthumously. While one of those projects, "Batman: Caped Crusader", ultimately did not feature Conroy, the other reported project, "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part 3", was later confirmed to be Conroy's actual final performance as Batman, making his purported last performance in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League false advertising.

Titania, being called the "Forbidden Planet", is the only stage in all of Star Fox 64 to not feature any of Andross' forces. Instead, all of the enemies and defense systems, including the boss Goras, are said to be remnants of an ancient alien civilization, with Goras being said to be a bio-weapon the ancient people modified before they went extinct. The official Japanese Star Fox 64 guide (as well as the Star Fox 64 Official Player's Guide) hints that the underwater ruins seen in the oceans of Aquas are connected to the ancient ruins on Titania.
As it did for Bacoon and the underwater ruins of Aquas, the Star Fox 64 Official Player's Guide would expand upon Goras' and Titania's backstory, claiming that it was formerly a green lush planet, and that the ancient people who lived there were an advanced agrarian civilization that would leave behind their harvests at temples that existed in each town to appease Goras. It claims that the civilization was destroyed by an asteroid colliding with Titania, leaving Goras as the only surviving creature on the planet that was now a barren wasteland, and it also claims that it was modified by Andross.
