Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party was originally intended as a game starring the cult ringtone mascot The Annoying Thing/Crazy Frog titled Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces, following the naming scheme of Crazy Frog Collectables: Art School. However, the bankruptcy of publisher Mercury Games resulted in the game being shelved, with developer Cypronia stepping in to publish the games themselves with an original Crazy Frog-inspired character in place of the license. A leftover menu icon for the Crazy Frog revision of the game can be found in the files.

Platform: Sega Pico

Attachment In 2001, the Sega Pico was rebranded as the "Kids Communication Pico", and along with it a universal logo was introduced to begin all future games. This logo itself has a selection of unused content - most notably, an 8-bit rendition of Smooth Criminal by Micheal Jackson. Despite the Sega Pico sharing a sound chip with the Sega Master System, this is a new rendition and not the version from the Master System version of Moonwalker.
Pokémon Red Version

In 2020, an unreleased extended cut of the 1998 Pokémon Generation I bus commercial was uploaded to YouTube. This extended cut shows that the bus featured in the advert was actually crushed during production, despite the final commercial cutting from the compactor starting to the compactor having already crushed the bus. The unreleased crushing scenes do not have Pokémon superimposed into the windows.
Mario Kart Tour

The racers may have planned to have losing animations for when they reach 5th or lower. In the game's data are Peachette and Pauline's losing voice clips, as well as voice clips from characters that appear in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (prior to the Booster Course Pass). The final game has the racers appear neutral should the player end up in 5th place or lower.

Since Pauline and Peachette were included as among two of the final four characters in the Booster Course Pass, these unused voice clips may have been a deciding factor behind their inclusion in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Attachment The background of the Punch-Out!! microgame is a screenshot taken in an unofficial Japanese emulator known as VirtuaNES, as can be noted by a Windows 9X window framing the background. This window is covered by an illustration of a television in the game.
Antonball Deluxe

Attachment Inside the code of Antonball Deluxe is a small, barely-legible image file simply called "hi", depicting former US president Donald Trump riding a Green Shell in a fan-made remake of Super Mario 64. Tony Grayson, the creator of Antonball, posted a high resolution rendition of the image on Twitter a year before the game's launch.

Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind

Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind was censored during the process of obtaining a Nintendo Seal of Approval, with two known instances being the removal of a cartoonish beheading death animation, and a catnip hazard which resembled marijuana and was replaced with banana peels.
The Flintstones

Attachment The Flintstones on SNES contains a music track titled "Unused Song 2", a somber and atmospheric track known for being completely inappropriate for the game's tone and source material that was only accessible through the sound test. The song was not originally written for The Flintstones, but rather as a test track for Ocean's MEdit software by composer Dean Evans. It ended up in the game as filler for the sake of using up excess cartridge space, and was not at any point supposed to be used in game as anything other than a sound test track.

According to director Toshiyuki Kusakihara, he wrote out an extensive history for the continent of Fódlan from the beginning and containing "probably a good ten-thousand years' worth of material" just to use as reference materials for development. However, he has stated that he would not release it, and expected more inquisitive players to analyze the story and fill in the holes themselves as the developers gradually forget the material over time.

Attachment In the hand drawn map of Super Metroid used by Nintendo Game Play Counselors, a single unused early room can be seen. The unused room is still in the game data, but it can never be reached. In the final game, the room was replaced with the acid Chozo room.
