Ghost of Tsushima

Attachment A sword kit named, "Ōmukade's Revenge", can be obtained by completing the mythic tale "The Spirit of Yarikawa's Vengeance". The design on the sword wrap depicts a coiling giant centipede. This is possibly a reference to the Japanese folktale of Tawara Tōda Monogatari in which a giant centipede (mukade or Ōmukade in Japanese) yokai terrorizes a kingdom.

Hypnospace Outlaw
1
Attachment On the page for the SquisherZ fanart contest, one of the submissions is a crude drawing of a monster with a detailed face, sparkles, and the Japanese text "ゴゴゴゴ" (a sound effect used to indicate a foreboding atmosphere), referencing the 1987 manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In a Twitter post, Hypnospace Outlaw director Jay Tholen stated that he was actually unaware of JoJo and that the image was sent to him on Discord; he accepted the drawing because of its "charmingly low effort" appearance.
Twisted Metal: Small Brawl
2
During developement, devs were already creating partial assets for RC versions of two classic Twisted Metal characters: Grasshopper and Warthog. However, because developement was rushed, they could not completely finish either in time, so they came up with an idea to combine the two: they would use Grasshopper's car shape/design, stats and everything else from Warthog (including his name and cutscenes), complete with a camouflage coloration for the car and its flag. This character even became known as "Warthopper" among the devs because of this. One particular dev on the GoodrichGames YouTube channel even stated that he was disappointed with Warthog's final Special in the game (which was modified from both Specter's and Crimson Fury's) and said that if they had more time it would be fixed mechanically and also unique with each missile doing something different.

Attachment Ignited Freddy and Ignited Bonnie from The Joy of Creation both make cameos in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach as an Easter egg on the "House of the Bear" arcade cabinets: Ignited Freddy on his own for the original, and together with Ignited Bonnie on "House of the Bear 2".

Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath - Vengance of the Slayer
1
Attachment In Slayers X, the Boise Potato Festival contains a crevasse leading to a bottomless pit. If the player manages to land on an outcropping just below the kill plane, they can access a hidden tunnel littered with messages by Adam Chase, a character in the Hypnospace Outlaw universe who assisted Zane Lofton with developing the game. According to Chase, he helped make the game as part of a promise he made with Lofton back in high school and that even though he now despises Lofton, he pities his situation as "a deadbeat dollar store manager" who believes that the game will help him and his son escape their current lot in life. The end of the hallway contains a photo of Lofton in his underwear peppered with "BWL" (short for "bursting with laughter"), the Hypnospace Outlaw equivalent of "LOL."
Ghost of Tsushima
1
Attachment Located in the Southwest region of Iki Island is a rocky island called "Saruiwa", which translates to "monkey rock", the word 'saru' meaning monkey and the word 'iwa' meaning rock. It is named as such because the rock formation resembles a monkey. This island is also named after and based on the Saruiwa rock formation found on the real Iki Island in Japan, though it should be noted that the in-game location and real-life location do not match up geographically.
Ghost of Tsushima

• The Crooked Kama headband.
• Gosaku's Armor with the Ocean's Guardian dye applied.
• The Sly Tanuki sword kit.

The trophy and items worn are all a reference to Sly Cooper.

Attachment Two background characters featured in the Pizzascare level, a pink-clothed Peppino and a dark-skinned blue-clothed heterochromatic Noise, are fan characters known as Peddito and the Doise created by a fan named Robbie1scool. Deltarune

Rouxls Kaard's line "Lost...? Frightened...? Confused...? GOOD!! HA HA HA!!!" appears to be a reference to the 1995 edutainment title I.M. Meen, in which the eponymous antagonist says a similar line.

Attachment The title card for the "Gnome Forest" level became the subject of the "Lario" meme, which features an edited version of the card with the word "Lario" above the characters' heads as a mash-up of "Sneaky Snitch" by Kevin MacLeod and "Superstar" by Young Thug. This meme would go on to be referenced within Pizza Tower itself, with Gnome Forest's secret music being renamed "Everybody Wants To Be A Secret" after the meme became popular.

Attachment Geary's Legendary Skin, Beenox Robot Geary, is based on a mascot used by Beenox in opening logos for movie-licensed games in the 2000s. It was added in response to high demand from fans for Geary to receive a legendary skin, as he was the only base game character without one for a very long period.
