subdirectory_arrow_right Fire Emblem Heroes (Game)
1
Textures for Fire Emblem Heroes-themed wallpapers from before that game's reveal can be found in Miitomo's data. These textures were never used in the game as Miitomo ended services in May 2018.
Doom 3
1
Attachment In 2002, the alpha version of Doom 3 had been leaked online. In this alpha version, the logo used for Doom 3 looked markedly different from its final version, using stylized roman numerals like one of its predecessors Doom II: Hell on Earth.

Cart Fury: Championship Racing
1
Attachment Inside the files of the PlayStation 2 version of CART Fury: Championship Racing is a silent video of Kermit the Frog talking taken from Muppets Inside, a game that was developed by a different studio.
Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party
subdirectory_arrow_right Crazy Frog (Franchise)
1
Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party was originally intended as a game starring the cult ringtone mascot The Annoying Thing/Crazy Frog titled Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces, following the naming scheme of Crazy Frog Collectables: Art School. However, the bankruptcy of publisher Mercury Games resulted in the game being shelved, with developer Cypronia stepping in to publish the games themselves with an original Crazy Frog-inspired character in place of the license. A leftover menu icon for the Crazy Frog revision of the game can be found in the files.
Chrome Dino
2
Additional animations were considered for the T-Rex, including roaring and a kick inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog, but these were scrapped to keep the animation rigid.
Chrome Dino
2
The Google Chrome dinosaur game is coded to conclude after playing for 17 million years straight, the same amount of time between the dinosaurs' evolution and extinction. This is, quite obviously, not realistically possible for any player.

Attachment In the files for the Neopets promotional game Alvin and the Chipmunks: How Many Chipmunks Could You Fit in Your Room Without Your Mom Finding Out?, you can find leftovers from the previous promotional game The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Personality Quiz.
Platform: Sega Pico
1
Attachment In 2001, the Sega Pico was rebranded as the "Kids Communication Pico", and along with it a universal logo was introduced to begin all future games. This logo itself has a selection of unused content - most notably, an 8-bit rendition of Smooth Criminal by Micheal Jackson. Despite the Sega Pico sharing a sound chip with the Sega Master System, this is a new rendition and not the version from the Master System version of Moonwalker.
Annalynn
2
Attachment On August 16th, 2023, Cruise Elroy revealed that he usually sketches out concepts for Annalynn before implementing them in game. While many of the sketches shown are present in the final release, some unused concepts are also shown, such as an orange character named Annabelle (presumably a second player character) and Mappy-style trampolines.

Among these sketches is also Mike drawn with an expression mirroring that seen in the "Today I Will" meme.

Among Us
2
Attachment Inside the code of Among Us is a placeholder version of the pet shop icon featuring pictures of "Big Chungus", a popular screenshot from the 1941 Looney Tunes cartoon "Wabbit Twouble", SpongeBob SquarePants, and the much-mocked early design for Sonic the Hedgehog from his 2020 movie.
Annalynn
2
Attachment During the development of the Nintendo Switch version, exclusive guest character Anton received a few scrapped sprites, including one with a closed mouth. A bottle of a red beverage and a red ball with eyebrows and a beard (presumably a reference to Antonball, Anton's debut appearance) were also planned to serve as Anton's life counter before being replaced with beets in the final release.

Attachment Some cut bonus items include a candle, diamond, emerald, and drill. However, the candle was reused for the 2016's mode bonus items.

Attachment Icicles were planned to be a hazard in the Ice Grave area of the game, but they were cut as Cruise Elroy thought that the area's wind and ice physics were enough to make the area challenging. Sprites for the icicles were produced, however.

Attachment Unused power-ups include an hourglass to slow down the Venom Brigade and a potion which would shrink them and render them harmless for a short time. They were scrapped due to being too similar to the final game's pickaxe powerup, but sprites for them were produced.
WWE 2K22
3
Attachment During the game's roster reveal in 2022, an image for WWE Superstar Elias featured him in an outfit that he had never been seen in. At the time, Elias had not been seen in WWE for 9 months as they had planned to re-package him in a new gimmick, but the new gimmick was deemed, "too Macho Man" and was scrapped. The render was likely made during this time, and shows what his outfit would have atleast looked like.

This render would eventually be changed in the final game, with him still using his musician gimmick. Elias would later return to WWE as "Ezekiel" (the younger brother of Elias) with a clean shaven face, shorter hair, and the same outfit seen in this early render.
Fortnite
2
Attachment When the Street Fighter skin set was released for Fortnite, a back bling of an arcade machine was released that would show attract mode footage from Street Fighter II. Coinciding with this, a texture was found in the data, under the name "FrenchFry" showing animation from Family Guy in a similar format. While many believed this confirmed that Peter Griffin was planned to be featured in the game alongside a back bling that would show Family Guy clips, it was later stated by a reputable Fortnite leaker named FNBRUnreleased that the Family Guy content could've only been added for one of two reasons: to annoy dataminers, or to internally test the Street Fighter graphics in a humorous way.

Griffin would eventually be added to Fortnite in Chapter 5. To coincide with his addition, a video titled "Peter Griffin Seeks Fitness Advice From Meowscles" was released: animated in the same style as "Family Guy", it features Griffin getting a fitness exam from Fortnite character Meowscles, ending with him drinking an expired bottle of Slurp Juice in order to become "swole", explaining his design in the game. The expiration date on the Slurp Juice is a reference to the date when the leak originally happened, and the trailer also used the leaked back bling. Despite appearing to be animated by Family Guy's animation department, the video noticeably does not feature any spoken dialogue, or voice acting by Family Guy creator and Griffin's voice actor Seth MacFarlane.

Zoo Tycoon 2
1
Attachment The files of Zoo Tycoon 2's Dino Danger Pack (consisting of Dinosaurs that would later be implemented into the Game's Extinct Animals Expansion) show that Styracosaurus babies were originally intended to be green rather then having the same coloured textures as they do as adults.
