Ultimate Custom Night Demo
1
The Ultimate Custom Night Demo is a reskin of Scott Cawthon's first PC game, "Doofas the Dinosaur," which he created in 1989. The changes include a Freddy head on Doofas, enemies changing to various animatronics from the Five Nights at Freddy's series, and gems changing to Mr. Cupcake.
Five Nights at Freddy's 3: Troll Game
1
This game is a reskin of one of Scott Cawthon's older games, "There is no Pause Button!" The only changes are the Freddy head on the blue avatar, and only the arcade mode is playable, giving the player 99 lives instead of the normal 999 or 50 lives, depending on difficulty.
FNaF World: Halloween Edition
1
FNaF World: Halloween Edition is a reskin of one of Scott Cawthon's older games "Fighter Mage Bard," with the characters being changed for Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica, and enemies being changed into similar looking enemies that could be seen in FNaF World.

Antonblast
1
It is jokingly implied in a trailer for Antonblast that Anton is the father of Amy Rose from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. This is a reference to a fan art trend following the reveal of Sonic Origins, where fans would portray Anton as a friend or family member to Amy after her spinning hammer attacks were shown to have an aesthetic resemblance to Anton's hammer attacks.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
1
When Garfield was released as a playable fighter in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Twitter user InsaneProtayto posted a viral tweet with a fake screenshot of an IGN news article claiming the cat couldn't be played as on Mondays, referencing one of his most well known catchphrases, "I hate mondays". This hoax ended up becoming so popular that publisher GameMill Entertainment responded on Twitter confirming that Garfield can in fact be played as on all days of the week.

Fortnite
2
Attachment When the Street Fighter skin set was released for Fortnite, a back bling of an arcade machine was released that would show attract mode footage from Street Fighter II. Coinciding with this, a texture was found in the data, under the name "FrenchFry" showing animation from Family Guy in a similar format. While many believed this confirmed that Peter Griffin was planned to be featured in the game alongside a back bling that would show Family Guy clips, it was later stated by a reputable Fortnite leaker named FNBRUnreleased that the Family Guy content could've only been added for one of two reasons: to annoy dataminers, or to internally test the Street Fighter graphics in a humorous way.

Griffin would eventually be added to Fortnite in Chapter 5. To coincide with his addition, a video titled "Peter Griffin Seeks Fitness Advice From Meowscles" was released: animated in the same style as "Family Guy", it features Griffin getting a fitness exam from Fortnite character Meowscles, ending with him drinking an expired bottle of Slurp Juice in order to become "swole", explaining his design in the game. The expiration date on the Slurp Juice is a reference to the date when the leak originally happened, and the trailer also used the leaked back bling. Despite appearing to be animated by Family Guy's animation department, the video noticeably does not feature any spoken dialogue, or voice acting by Family Guy creator and Griffin's voice actor Seth MacFarlane.

Undertale
1
Attachment One of Toriel's sprites, a facial expression of her with an uneven frown and an eyebrow raised slightly higher than the other, is internally called "dreamworks", referencing the "DreamWorks Face", a nickname for a facial expression comprised of a confident, uneven smirk and one eyebrow being raised while the other is down. It is named as such for the film studio DreamWorks Animation, which frequently uses this facial expression in promotional artwork for its movies.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

In Garfield's showcase presentation, the narrator remarks "It's time to kick Odie off the table!" when showing Garfield's light neutral attack. This is a reference to "Garfielf", a surreal fan animation by YouTube animator PilotRedSun. While kicking Odie off the table is a recurring gag in Garfield comics, the specific quote "It's time to kick Odie off the table" originates from the Garfielf video and seems to not be from any official Garfield media.

Among Us
2
Attachment Inside the code of Among Us is a placeholder version of the pet shop icon featuring pictures of "Big Chungus", a popular screenshot from the 1941 Looney Tunes cartoon "Wabbit Twouble", SpongeBob SquarePants, and the much-mocked early design for Sonic the Hedgehog from his 2020 movie.
Annalynn
2
Attachment On August 16th, 2023, Cruise Elroy revealed that he usually sketches out concepts for Annalynn before implementing them in game. While many of the sketches shown are present in the final release, some unused concepts are also shown, such as an orange character named Annabelle (presumably a second player character) and Mappy-style trampolines.

Among these sketches is also Mike drawn with an expression mirroring that seen in the "Today I Will" meme.

Annalynn
2
As of version 1.3, after inputting a secret code on the Practice Mode select screen, "Mike%" is activated, which adds a timer to the game which stops once Mike is defeated. This is presumably a nod to the Mike% speedrunning category found on the game's page on Speedrun.com.

If this code is active while playing the game's final level, Mike is found sleeping in the corner of the boss room.

Double Dribble
subdirectory_arrow_right Family Guy (Franchise)
2
In a 2016 Family Guy episode titled "Run, Chris, Run!", footage was used from a YouTube video of a glitch in the NES game Double Dribble by user Sw1tched without permission from either Sw1tched or Konami. This would result in the footage being added to YouTube's content ID system as Family Guy footage and accidentally removed. The video was eventually reinstated after intervention from show creator Seth MacFarlane.
hhGregg's Quest for Coupons
2
HHGregg's Quest for Coupons, a fangame based on the online retailer's HH mascot who became a niche meme, was officially endorsed by HHGregg on their Twitter account in 2018.
Raid: Shadow Legends
1
Raid: Shadow Legends was criticized for its aggressive marketing campaign through sponsorships with YouTube channels, usually ones that lack demographic overlap with a high-fantasy Western RPG to the point where adverts for the game are considered "inescapable". Developers Plarium Games have tried to claim that they don't actually sponsor content creators, and that content creators are simply shouting out the game unpaid because of how much they like it, which is easily disproved by watching any of the sponsor segments, where the legal clarity precautions for sponsorships are consistently followed.
Among Us
subdirectory_arrow_right Rick and Morty (Franchise), McDonald's (Franchise)
1
Attachment In 2021, an auction was put up on eBay for an "Among Us-shaped chicken nugget", supposedly obtained from the McDonald's promotional tie-in meal with the K-Pop boy band BTS. This played off of a then-recent meme depicting Among Us players as suffering from pareidolia and mistaking simple everyday objects for impostors, the general cultural distaste for boy bands like BTS, and a viral 2017 eBay listing of a Cheeto supposedly shaped like the deceased gorilla Harambe. The nugget would come alongside a packet of Szechuan Sauce, a McDonald's condiment that had received a controversial limited release provoked by a joke in "The Rickshank Redemption", an episode of the animated series Rick & Morty. The auction sold to user polizna for $99,997.00 USD, outclassing the price of the Harambe Cheeto by $97.00.
Pooplers
1
Upon its initial release, Pooplers was, despite its young target audience, given an M rating by the ESRB for "blood", likely because one of the selectable poop colors in the game is red. Despite this M rating being featured in the game's trailer, the game would eventually be re-evaluated to an E10+ rating for merely "mild blood".

Chungus Rampage in Big Forest
1
Despite the player destroying the barnhouse in the final mission of the game, the ending of Chungus Rampage in Big Forest shows the farmer crying outside of an undamaged barnhouse.
Deltarune
1
Attachment Catti and Catty's dad in Deltarune is a reference to Mr. Dink, a character from the Nickelodeon/Disney cartoon Doug. He mentions a character named "Douglas" (the name Dink would refer to Doug by in the series) and is seen next to a broken grill, referencing a scene from the original Nickelodeon run of the series where Doug imagines Mr. Dink turning into a monster in rage after finding out Doug broke his grill.

Attachment The character of "Ugly Sonic" in the 2022 film Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers is based on the infamous first design of Sonic the Hedgehog featured in the first trailer for his 2020 film. Voiced by Tim Robinson, Ugly Sonic acknowledges the mockery of appearance (especially his realistic humanoid teeth) and uses it to find new work.

According to the director Akiva Schaffer, the company that provided the effects for this film, MovingPictureCompany, also provided the CGI for the 2020 Sonic film, meaning for Ugly Sonic, they had to "repeat their mistakes on purpose this time."

Interestingly, Ugly Sonic wasn't originally planned to be in this cameo; Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars was initially meant to be featured as the character acknowledging his mockery.
