Master Detective Archives: Rain Code
2
Kazutaka Kodaka began planning Master Detective Archives: Rain Code in 2016, while he was still working at Spike Chunsoft. It was designed to be different from the Danganronpa series, with a dark fantasy setting influenced by the works of Tim Burton. It also uses full 3D models throughout the game, as opposed to Danganronpa's blend of 3D environments and 2D characters: it does, however, still feature a similar psycho-pop aesthetic with neon colors.

At the end of each cup, the Award Ceremony for the top three racers in the cup is held outside Peach's Castle as it is seen in Super Mario 64. This is not a unique, inaccessible area, but can actually be found in Royal Raceway, popularly featuring an open pathway allowing you to drive around the starting area of Super Mario 64. However, this area is also not a shortcut and you must return to the racetrack if you want to continue the race. Alternatively, you can fall in the castle's moat, causing Lakitu to pull you out and return you to the racetrack.
Bayonetta
3
Attachment During any cutscene where Bayonetta has a lollipop, if you hold down a specific button before the candy head of the lollipop first appears, you will gain the effect of a specific lollipop item available in the game's stores, and this is reflected in the cutscene by changing which lollipop flavor is shown:

• A for Green Herb lollipop (recover health)
• B for Bloody Rose lollipop (temporary damage boost)
• X for Purple Butterfly lollipop (recover magic)
• Y for Yellow Moon lollipop (gain armor)

It is pertinent that you press and hold the desired button before the candy part of the lollipop is actually seen in the cutscene to ensure the trick works. For example, in Chapter IV: The Cardinal Virtue of Fortitude, when Bayonetta walks into the colosseum, you can see that she is holding a lollipop, but you can only see the stick at first, meaning there's still time to perform the trick. If performed correctly, the lollipop head will be revealed as the one you have chosen. You can also skip the cutscene while still holding the button in order to keep the effect. Unlike normally using a lollipop item, performing this trick does not remove points from your score in a chapter.

Going off of the colors of each lollipop that are used for each face button, they match up with the Xbox 360 controller's color scheme, possibly being a remnant of Platinum Games primarily developing Bayonetta for the Xbox 360. This feature would not be carried over into subsequent Bayonetta games.

Attachment Hajime Makunouchi was once a scrapped design left in LINUJ's notebook prior to the time he discovered Danganronpa. His initial design has little resemblance to his final design: he wore a t-shirt with the word "Victory" on it, a tooth-like necklace, a pair of shorts, and a champions belt presumably meant to keep them up. He did, however, retain the same hairstyle and sunglasses within his final design. He was eventually redesigned as LINUJ began to consider the idea of making a sequel to Danganronpa Another: apart from the design of the champions belt and the removal of scars, nothing else was different between the prototype and final designs.

Additionally, while LINUJ regards Hajime's childhood as a common cliche, he also really liked his character and childhood. He also noted that while Hajime's sunglasses are meant for optical nerve damage, he also just liked to draw sunglasses, suggesting that they originally served no purpose in the initial design.

Dingo Pictures is a German animation company founded in 1992 by Ludwig Ickert and Roswitha Haas. The company primarily made traditionally-animated films based on fairy tales and other similar concepts used by the likes of Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks. However, their films are notorious for their low-budget animation, small voice casts, and character designs visibly similar to equivalent characters in more high-profile films. The films in question have been dubbed into Scandinavian languages (i.e. Swedish), as well as Romance languages (i.e. Italian), as well as being released direct-to-video in their original German language.

European game publishers Phoenix Games and Midas Games released some of Dingo Pictures' films from the early 2000s onto the PlayStation and PlayStation 2. Developed by The Code Monkeys, these releases included the original film, and a selection of minigames. Phoenix Games would later declare bankruptcy on August 3, 2010, though this would later be suspended due to lack of income.

Snow White and the 7 Clever Boys

The box art of the game depicts Snow White, the Dwarves, and the Evil Queen as looking like poorly modelled versions of their Disney counterparts. However, their in-game designs are all completely different.
Cartoon Network: Block Party

Attachment Despite appearing on the box art, Ed is an NPC in the game and not a playable character. The title screen rectifies this by removing Ed.
Ed, Edd n Eddy: Lunchroom Rumble
2
Attachment During his victory animation, Double D will toss his sock hat in the air, revealing his hair, seemingly answering a popular mystery from the Ed, Edd, n' Eddy cartoon. However, this should not be considered canon to the show, as Double D's head was intentionally never officially revealed on the show. The game was possibly made by a separate group in Cartoon Network’s American division, while the show was produced by a.k.a. Cartoon in Canada.

Sally.Exe
subdirectory_arrow_right MY5TCrimson (Company)
1
Sally.Exe was intended to be an unofficial adaptation of the creepypasta of the same name, similar to how MY5TCrimson's previous game Sonic.exe was based on the titular creepypasta. However, since the game's release, he found out that the "Sally.exe" creepypasta was a rip-off of a YouTube video that predated the creepypasta, and feeling that this made the game a rip-off by extension, he decided to no longer support the title and disassociate himself from it. Despite this, he left the option to download the game available.

Additionally, MY5TCrimson has acknowledged that the game was never meant to be a serious project, and while he was glad by its success, he felt it was time to "put my effort into more ambitious games that aren't just cheap jump-scare material" (i.e. his upcoming game Shrouded).

The Wild Villains, an original group of villains created for the game, are all based on characters from writer Kohei Horikoshi's previous manga, Oumagadoki Zoo:

• Curator is based on Isana, the main antagonist of the "Vs. Aquarium" arc.
• Zookeeper is based on Hana Aoi, the main deuteragonist of the series, with elements from Shiina, the main protagonist.
• Bearhead is based on Shikuma, the main antagonist of the "Vs. Circus" arc.

Attachment The title of "first 3D platformer" is often erroneously given to either 1996's Super Mario 64 or 1995's Jumping Flash! - despite this, neither game can factually claim that title, with 1990's Alpha Waves being the true owner of the title according to Guinness World Records.

Additionally, 1984's I, Robot - while primarily a shooting game - did feature 3D platforming segments.

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry
2
The game's title is not known to be a parody of an existing title: while many assume it's a parody of the 2014 adventure game D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, this has not been confirmed by the devs, who stated on the game's Steam Community page that "There might [be] quite a list of interpretation[s,] but for us it is just a matching title for a new Larry adventure ;-)". Series creator Al Lowe (who was not involved in the title) stated prior to release that he was unimpressed by the title.

In December 2021, Mob Entertainment announced a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on the in-game posters. This was quickly met with backlash and negative reviews from the community (with some even requesting refunds), accusing the devs of hiding lore for the game behind a paywall. The announcement post was eventually deleted, but could not remove the NFTs as well due to the contact that had been signed, forcing them to wait until it expired.

On May 3, 2022, Mob Entertainment CEO Zach Belanger revealed in a statement on Twitter that all profits made from the NFTs would be donated to the Clean Air Task Force organization.

Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust
3
This game is the second Leisure Suit Larry game to feature no involvement from series creator Al Lowe. Around the time the game was released, Lowe wrote this testimony about the game on his blog:

"All I know about BOB is what I've read online. VU [Vivendi Games] (and later Activision, Team 17 and Codemasters) did not consult me nor discuss anything about this game with me. In fact, they've expressed no interest in me whatsoever! For a while, I hoped that they would remember to send me a review copy. Now that the reviews are in, it's just as well that they didn't!

In case you missed the news, Sierra announced another Larry Lovage game (although this time they spelled his name with an extra "E" i.e., "Loveage" ): Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust. A few months later, after Activision merged with VU, they cancelled it, along with many other VU titles. In early 2009, the game's developer Team 17 announced that Codemasters had picked up the title. It was released at the end of March. No advance copies were released to reviewers (always an ominous sign).

Originally, the game's Executive Producer, John Melchior, claimed it had "open world sand box gameplay," racing, platforming, and puzzles and yet also repeated four times that "it's an adventure game." As another warning sign that rarely bodes well for good gameplay, Larry BOB proudly features its voiceover talent, which includes some D-list "stars." Mr. Melchior wanted to make a game that "Al Lowe would like to play." I wonder why he didn't just ask me?

Ah, well; it can't be worse than Magna Cum Laude, can it?

Now that the reviews are in, the answer is: Yes, it can!"

Lowe then proceeded to list several negative reviews of the game from various major outlets, before concluding with:

"My Take: Thank you, VU Games, for keeping me completely away from this latest disaster!"
