As a reward for contributing a $100+ donation to the game's Kickstarter campaign, backers could choose to join a clan of their choice to appear under in the game's credits. Six "Sword or Whip" Clans (connected to a vote on if Miriam's personal weapon should be a sword or a whip) were dedicated to voting on which Sword or Whip weapon would become the most powerful weapon in the game (the winner being Clan Katana with the Grand Izayoi sword), while the remaining eighteen clans were Community or YouTube Partner Clans, who would receive a code for a clan-specific item.The Community Clans were represented by two Castlevania fan communities: the Dungeon clan (The Castlevania Dungeon forums), and the Operation Akumajo clan (a Castlevania Facebook group spun off from The Castlevania Dungeon dedicated to promoting the series following its 25th anniversary in 2011). The YouTubers and other companies who participated in the last clan group were associated with Fangamer, a video game merchandising company who managed the Kickstarter campaign for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. To unlock one of the Community/YouTube Partner Clan items, you must enter its respective code as the name for your save file, and as such only one clan item can be unlocked per save file. By collecting them all and beating the Extra Stage "Egoism 440" with a grade of AA or higher, the song "Max.(Period)" is revealed as an Encore Extra Stage. This marked the first time "Max.(Period)" ever appeared in an arcade entry of the series after its debut in the Japanese console release of Dance Dance Revolution Extreme.

When the strategy battle involving not only Japan but Taiwan, South Korea, North America, etc. started, there was a feeling of excitement and expectation similar to whether human beings could reach an unknown planet for the first time.
I checked the progress everyday and was amazing. Today, the human race has reached so far.
And when the long-awaited first clear arrived, I was happy as if I cleared it.
However, at that time there was another chart cleared besides Difficult. "Beginner chart seems to have been cleared... Even though it is the easiest chart of Over The “Period”", "It is a real hell...", but I knew the veteran player who came this far would do it.

Nintendo Treehouse did not expect the WarioWare series to receive more installments after WarioWare: Touched!. They also did not believe that the character Ashley would not make any further appearances in the Wario franchise as a whole, so they cast a random localization employee named Christine Peyser to play Ashley in the English version of the game instead of a professional voice actress. This would become problematic as the WarioWare series proved its longevity, with Peyser being forced to abandon projects to record Ashley's lines. Ashley, alongside the entire WarioWare cast sans Wario, would eventually be recast in WarioWare Gold.

The Pop'n Music songs "Dance to Blue (Respect Style)" and "Mychronicle", along with the Sound Voltex song "GERBERA" were all initially credited to "BEMANI Sound Team" (Or "伊藤賢治 Remixed by BEMANI Sound Team" in the case of "Dance to Blue (Respect Style)"). These songs marked the first usages of such a moniker in BEMANI games. It wouldn't be until December 2017 that these songs received the altered credits "伊藤賢治 Remixed by BEMANI Sound Team 'PON'", "BEMANI Sound Team 'positive MAD-crew'", and "BEMANI Sound Team 'TAG'" respectively. Since then, all in-house BEMANI songs have been credited as BEMANI Sound Team "Artist Name". Though no official breakdown for the BEMANI Sound Team moniker has been given, some theorize the change was either to distinguish in-house composers from commissioned artists (i.e. kors k and Ryu☆), or due to policies from a pachinko company merger with Konami, mandating reduced visibility of staff.
