Pac-Land
subdirectory_arrow_right Pac-Man Museum+ (Game)
1
Attachment The wheels on the ghost cars in Pac-Land feature a Manji, a symbol used in Buddhism to represent eternal cycling. In the Pac-Man Museum+ version of Pac-Land, the wheel design was changed to avoid resemblances to modern Swastikas associated with Nazism.
Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
subdirectory_arrow_right Wii U (Platform)
2
When Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures launched on Wii U, the Miiverse page initially allowed screenshots from the game to be posted, which led to many users using the game as a loophole to post profanity. Shortly after, the ability to post screenshots would be removed.
Yo-kai Watch 4++
1
This is the first game in the Yo-kai Watch series to be released in the Chinese market. However, this version has numerous changes, such as:

• Redesigning Gutsy Bones and Jinta/Jingeki, making them look like robots/androids.
• Covering Blizzaria's cleavage in her Shadowside form.
• Removing Hot Pot's spout.
• Redesigning Yamamba to make her look less scary.
• Changing the text to remove words that are considered "taboo" in China, such as "ghost", "kill", and "medicine".

Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!
1
Traveler's Tales had intended to slide a Christian Easter egg into Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, inserting a sticker on a suitcase reading "JOHN 3:16", a citation for a Bible verse reading:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

When Disney saw it, they insisted that it be removed, so in the final game the sticker simply reads "NY CITY".
Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse
2
Attachment The game over screen of Mickey Mania and its PlayStation port Mickey's Wild Adventure, where Mickey lies down on the ground, holding a lily with X's in his eyes, is the only time Mickey Mouse has ever been shown as dead on-screen in an official Disney product.

Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
1
Attachment In the original console releases and PC version of the game, the fourth section of the first world The Fairy Council has a fairy say in a cutscene, "Oh my god, what is going on here?" Then later, "Oh my god, its an unspeakable atrocity!" The phrase 'Oh my god' was removed in the HD remaster for PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360. Oddly enough, in the HD remaster, the minigame Crush maintains the phrase as a reactionary on-screen quote if players manage to score 10 consecutive hit combos.

My Hero One's Justice 2
1
Attachment The DLC character Midnight's costume is censored in both the Western and Japanese versions of the game, with her chest being covered up by her leotard. In addition, her character artwork has her wearing formal wear instead of her hero costume: the outfit itself is a reference to the anime episode "Special Episode: Save the World with Love!".
Donkey Konga
2
The US version of Donkey Konga contains a cover of the song "Stupid Cupid" by Neil Sedaka. However, the reference to "loving lips of wine" is left uncensored despite the game being rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
Donkey Konga
2
In the US version of Donkey Konga, a cover of the song "Rock This Town" by Stray Cats is featured. However, a reference to "Whiskey on the rocks" remains uncensored despite the game being rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
Donkey Konga
4
The European version of Donkey Konga contains a cover of the song Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. The lyric "Pissing the night away" is censored as "Kissing the night away", but "He drinks a Whiskey drink, he drinks a Vodka drink. He drinks a Lager drink, he drinks a Cider drink" remains uncensored despite the game's 3+ rating.
Superfrog
1
Attachment Superfrog was originally going to gain powers from drinking Newcastle Brown Ale, but this was changed to Lucozade in the final release.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
1
Attachment It has been implied that Garfield's neutral special in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (where he transforms into the original, fatter 1970s version of the character) was originally going to feature him smoking a pipe, in reference to an internet meme based on a 1978 Garfield comic, where the last panel of a different Garfield comic is replaced with a panel of Garfield smoking a pipe with the same design. It is unknown if this was removed by the developers' choice, at the request of Nickelodeon, or at the request of the ratings board, but either way it was likely done to make the game more appropriate for its age demographic.
Pop'n Music: Usagi to Neko to Shounen no Yume
subdirectory_arrow_right Sound Voltex IV: Heavenly Haven (Game), Bemani (Franchise)
1
The Pop'n Music songs "Dance to Blue (Respect Style)" and "Mychronicle", along with the Sound Voltex song "GERBERA" were all initially credited to "BEMANI Sound Team" (Or "伊藤賢治 Remixed by BEMANI Sound Team" in the case of "Dance to Blue (Respect Style)"). These songs marked the first usages of such a moniker in BEMANI games. It wouldn't be until December 2017 that these songs received the altered credits "伊藤賢治 Remixed by BEMANI Sound Team 'PON'", "BEMANI Sound Team 'positive MAD-crew'", and "BEMANI Sound Team 'TAG'" respectively. Since then, all in-house BEMANI songs have been credited as BEMANI Sound Team "Artist Name". Though no official breakdown for the BEMANI Sound Team moniker has been given, some theorize the change was either to distinguish in-house composers from commissioned artists (i.e. kors k and Ryu☆), or due to policies from a pachinko company merger with Konami, mandating reduced visibility of staff.

Kingdom Hearts III
1
Attachment Grand Chef, the Ratatouille keyblade in Kingdom Hearts III, has two bottles of champagne attached to its handles. While the artwork on these bottles originates from a poster briefly seen in the movie, it is more commonly associated with a controversial cancelled Ratatouille-branded wine that was intended to be sold in Costco in 2007, but was pulled before it could hit shelves due to concerns relating to underaged drinking. While the iteration in the movie shows red wine, the iteration on the wine bottle shows an olive tone of wine. The Grand Chef keyblade features both colors for the wine.
