"Construction Site" is a relatively unimportant level in the game, with only a cutscene being played there and little else for the player to do. It is very likely, however, that this level was at one point meant to have a bigger role in the game. The level has a lot of collision at places that are not normally reachable, and there are text entries for unused mission names, including "Climb Construction Site" and "Find Baron at Construction Site"

Mother 3+, the game's physical soundtrack, contains a remix of Big Shot's theme. This remix is heavily based on the theme used in the trailer for Earthbound/Mother 64. The track's name, "A Great Person Theme", instead of "Big Shot's Theme", suggests that this particular version of the song was created earlier in the game's development, possibly when it was still planned to be a 64DD game.

Attachment Outside of Sirchester there is an NPC who states that he swam from the Kalos Region (from Pokémon X & Y) to the Galar Region. If what he says is true then this confirms that the two regions are in close proximity to each other just like their real-world European counterparts of the United Kingdom (Galar) and France (Kalos), which, in real life, are very close but separated by the English Channel.

In the publication "The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia" by Dark Horse Comics, it was strongly suggested that the entirety of the first legend of Zelda game actually takes place on Death Mountain. Furthermore there are a lot of similarities between the entire map of The Legend of Zelda and the Death Mountain portion of the overworld from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, giving more credence to the claim.

In an early announcement trailer for the Nintendo Gamecube, Animal Crossing was called (or at least promoted as) "Animal Forest for Nintendo Gamecube", outright referencing the original Japanese title of the game (Dōbutsu no Mori or "Animal Forest" in English). This suggests that either the English localizers were thinking of keeping the game's original title, albeit translated, or the title "Animal Crossing" was not yet finalized.

Attachment Solid Snake's series logo was changed from the FOX emblem that was used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, to the exclamation point seen when being caught in most Metal Gear Solid games.

This is likely because the FOX emblem (which first appeared in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater) is also commonly associated with series creator Hideo Kojima and his company Kojima Productions, a former subsidiary of Konami. Kojima left Konami in 2015 and the removal of the FOX emblem to represent the series is likely a biproduct of the split.

Within the game files is an audio clip for an unused special quote when pitting Dormammu against Doctor Strange where the former would say "Doctor Strange, let this be our final battle!". Attachment In 2012, Ken Balough announced that Big the Cat would be retired from the franchise for the time being as they could not find a good use for the character, and all things that they already tried didn't work out for him. This however did not stop Big from making cameo appearances in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, having a trophy in the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. 4, having a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, being playable in the mobile games Sonic Runners and Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, and even making a full appearance in Lego Dimensions and Team Sonic Racing. Big was eventually reintroduced to the mainline Sonic games in Sonic Frontiers.
