Despite being dubbed "Mobile Light Force 2" in the USA and Europe, the game is actually the first Castle Shikigami game, and bears no connection to the first Mobile Light Force. In this release all story content was cut, voices were dubbed into incomprehensible English and the "Shikigami" attacks were renamed "Mobile Light Force 2" attacks in the manual. Despite the naming of the first port the series continued with its original naming from Castle Shikigami 2 onwards.

Attachment Hinata Hyūga's original jutsu name is "Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms", but instead they named it "Protective Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms" in the anime English dub and "Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms Guard" in the video games.

Even though this jutsu only appeared in anime filler and Rock Lee and His Ninja Pals, it still continues to be (Part 1 & 2) Hinata's jutsu throughout the Naruto games.

Attachment When Kirby's Return to Dream Land was localized in Europe, the title name was changed to Kirby's Adventure Wii and has the same box art from the Japanese version, rather than the box art from the North American release. If the game is played on an original Nintendo DS console, Mario will say "Wahoo" on the opening screen, but if played on a DS Lite console or later, Mario says "Here we go!" instead. This is due there being a random number generation system that is intended to choose two sound effects from a pool of two each, the aforementioned two Mario sounds, and two car sounds - one of a car revving up and another of a car zooming past. However, due to a fault in the programming, the number is instead determined by load time, resulting in only one sound effect each, with the original "fat DS" only having variance in Mario's voice due to it having very slightly slower hardware, and the car zooming past sound effect becoming very rare compared to the rev-up sound effect.

Released originally in Japan as Clock Tower: Ghost Head the game bears little to no connection to the series' two previous titles.
