The Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast versions of NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC contain secret text in their code that some may find to humorously juxtapose one another.

•The Nintendo 64 version contains the text "An Alan Smithee Game", referring to a pseudonym used by filmmakers to disown a project they don't want to be associated with.
•The Dreamcast version contains the text "Joe Rules", likely a signature referring to either programmer Joe Barnes, artist Joe Williamson, or both.

"Far behind the inventor you see a poster for Game Grumps, the popular internet series hosted by Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan. The poster is bright orange with text in BD Cartoon Shout font, and it features caricatures of the show's hosts sporting grump expressions.

[Note: This Easter Egg is brought to you by Vitas Varnas without the knowledge or participation of the Game Grumps, members of their families, deceased relatives, or people they hang out with in pubs.]"

This is a reference to the internet let's play channel Game Grumps and their logo which uses the font style mentioned above. Actor Vitas Varnas was also the one who had inserted the Easter Egg into the game, who has often contributed games to the show.
Overwatch

Hongyu Wu, a Chinese Overwatch player, lost his life whilst bravely chasing a motorbike thief on May 23rd, 2016.

A memorial was placed in his honor on the Control Center map of Lijiang Tower, where the name "宏宇" (Hongyu) is placed on one of red team's space suits. The phrase "英雄不朽" (Heroes never die) is also added to the background behind it.
Super Mario 64 DS

In the South Korean version of the game, there's a Yellow ! Block that appears on the castle roof right next to the Red ? Block. Hitting it from underneath will give the player an infinite amount of extra lives and will not disappear, allowing them to easily acquire 100 lives. This was removed in all other versions of the game.

Super Mario Maker

Attachment Similar to the SNES Game Mario Paint, tapping the letters on the game's title screen will produce unique effects:

• Tapping the word Super will drop out 5 Invincibility Stars, followed by a random voice or voices calling out the name of the game.
• Tapping the M will make it flip upside down into a W, spelling "Super Wario Maker". Wario's voice will also taunt the player.
• Tapping the A will make a cluster of multi-colored stars rain out from the background, which will also defeat all enemies present on the screen.
• Tapping the R will stretch it upwards slightly, raining out a shower of coins.
• Tapping the I will make the little parakeet from the Nintendo DSi Sound app appear and sit on top of the letter for a short moment.
• Tapping the O will make a Koopa Clown Car appear.
• Tapping the 2nd M will make a Buzzy Beetle helmet drop down.
• Tapping the 2nd A will turn it into a rocket ship taking off, along with an intercom counting down before it takes off.
• Tapping the K will turn the screen into a sepia tone, and will also play an 8-bit version of the title screen theme.
• Tapping the E will drop down a Springboard.
• Tapping the 2nd R will either make a Goomba's Shoe or a Yoshi Egg appear, depending on the style featured.

In addition, tapping anywhere else will make different types of enemies appear, and carry Mario around.
Kirby Super Star Ultra

Attachment At the start of the game's intro, there's a small chance that Kirby may wink at the player as he rides his Warp Star instead of smiling, and does a back flip instead of a loop. Other changes in the Alternate Intro includes there being an island in the water that Kirby flies past, and the Star Explosion at the end being bigger than usual.
