There's a rare glitch in the WarioWare Inc. stage. In normal gameplay, "Ashley's Song" plays its Japanese version in Japan only, and the English version in all other versions. However, in Spectate mode, if Player 1 is from Japan and this stage is chosen, the game will play the Japanese version of the song regardless of region.

The hand sings used by Oro during his animations for blocking/parrying an attack, using his normal fireball, or using his Yagyou Dama super art, are know as mudra, which are symbolic or ritual gestures from the Hindu and Buddhist faiths; later on incorporated into various eastern styles of martial arts. Additionally, Oro draws Ki energy from a specific part of his body depending on where his hand is placed, for example, if Oro placed his hand on his head he's drawing energy from the brow chakra, and when placed on the chest he's drawing energy from the heart chakra.

The musical score for Evergrace was composed by Kota Hoshino. He stated in an interview that voices are used as the primary "instrument" in the game's soundtrack. Hoshino recorded samples of his own voice and edited them with Soundforge, then recorded more voice samples to create what he considers to be an ethnic sound. Japanese instruments such as the shakuhachi and the shamisen were also added. All the score's percussion was synthesized.

In 2012, Ken Balough announced that Big the Cat would be retired from the franchise for the time being as they could not find a good use for the character, and all things that they already tried didn't work out for him. This however did not stop Big from making cameo appearances in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, having a trophy in the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. 4, having a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, being playable in the mobile games Sonic Runners and Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, and even making a full appearance in Lego Dimensions and Team Sonic Racing. Big was eventually reintroduced to the mainline Sonic games in Sonic Frontiers.

For some strange reason, in the Spanish version of the Wii U game, the Temple stage is called "La Cúspide." "La Cúspide" means "Summit," and it's unknown whether the stage from Brawl would return, or just simply a translation mistake.

Some releases fixed this mistake, however, and the map is called "Templo" in those instances. (the correct Spanish name)

This is the first Leisure Suit Larry game that had no involvement with series creator Al Lowe. According to Lowe, the game was nothing like the original series that he created. He even criticized that it was announced as a 'Leisure Suit Larry' title when Larry Laffer (the main character from the original series) himself wasn't the main character, the mini games that were in it, and the fact it wasn't an 'adventure game' like the other games of the series:

"It is not Larry 8! Even though VU [Vivendi Games] calls it a "Leisure Suit Larry game," Leisure Suit Larry's only role is a cameo as the "help voiceover." It is not an adventure game. There are no real puzzles, no interactive dialog, no narrator, no character development, and nearly no plot. Much of the dialog is uninspired and trite. There's more profanity in the first scene than in all the previous Larry games combined. Women cuss like sailors. The "F" word is repeated so often the writers must have used a macro. The plentiful load screens show cheesy photographs of average-looking college-aged women who don't look sexy, but rather, ill-at-ease!

The protagonist is a loser named Larry who has trouble scoring with women. The game works hard, usually too hard, to reference earlier Larry games. Like Larry Laffer, it seems to desperately want to fit in. The animation is 3D and wonderfully jiggly. (Actually, "pendulous" would be a better word; most of these breasts are too large to jiggle.) There's some humorous dialog. And it's more than bawdy enough.

But… All this ignores the glaring disaster of those damned mini-games! They're distracting, repetitive, and boring. Who wants to play lame arcade games that wouldn't be fun even on a GameBoy? Not even this game's giant breasts are worth this slog. MCL is definitely unlike the other Larry games.

Those who seek 3D boobs, profanity, and fart jokes will be pleased. Those who fondly remember my games will be severely disappointed."

Lowe later stated that playing Manga Cum Laude felt like "receiving a video from my son's kidnappers.":

"On one hand, you're glad he's still alive but its like, 'Oh God, what are they doing to him!' And it just pained me to watch it happen. You know I put ten years of my life into that guy and he was very good to me."

By going to the northwest section of the map where the Ginyu Force resides, you can skip the segment, because there is a misplaced warp in that corner. This appears to be a mistake as you are supposed to fight the Ginyu Force to progress the story, and the warp isn't on land.
