Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
1
There's an old-fashioned record player in a hidden area at the end of World 1-3, near the secret exit. It strongly resembles Cranky Kong's record player seen in the original Donkey Kong Country, and will even play the same tune if the player pounds the ground next to it.
Kirby Triple Deluxe
1
The first letter of the names of each of the 6 main worlds spell out "flower":

• Fine Field
• Lollipop Land
• Old Odyssey
• Wild World
• Ever Explosion
• Royal Road

The final boss, Spoiler:Sectonia, takes the form of a flower, and the song played during that phase of the battle is titled "FLOWERED".
Gradius
1
Attachment Holding A+B while starting the game will display a hidden message: "KONAMI ONE GRADIUS ONE"

This appears to be a diagnostic screen, as some people have reported that it may say "TEN" instead of "ONE" on one line or the other. It is theorized that this screen displays the result of some kind of code verification algorithm or checksum, with each line representing the status of a different portion of the game's code.
Mega Man 7
1
Attachment The password provided after completing the game provides access to a hidden feature in addition to its normal function. Confirming the password entry with the L+R+Start button combination will load a secret two-player versus mode, with Mega Man and Bass as playable characters.
Mega Man X2
1
Attachment Holding down the B button on Controller 2 while turning on the SNES will display a diagnostic screen for the Cx4 chip included in the cartridge. This chip is responsible for the trigonometric calculations necessary to display the animated wireframes in the game.
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
1
Pressing Select on the pause screen exactly 16 times will open up the game's debug mode. This will display a cursor that allows the player to change the timer, heart count and coin count as well as cycle through Wario's various power-ups.
Star Command
1
Attachment Possible dialogue choices at two points of the story are "It's time to kick @$$ and chew bubble gum. And I'm all outta gum." and "I came here to chew gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of gum."

These are references to Duke Nukem's catchphrase, and in turn, the 1988 film They Live.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
1
Attachment The Japanese release of the VR Missions DLC includes a wooden sword called the 蛇魂‚ (Snake Spirit). The sword will speak in Snake's voice, and comment on Raiden's actions and situation.

The sword was not included in international releases, for unknown reasons.
Spider-Man
1
On "What if?" mode, the Ark of the Covenant can be found inside a crate at the beginning of the level "Waterfront Warehouse". This could possibly be a reference to Raiders of the Lost Ark, in which the Ark of the Covenant is sealed in a wooden crate and stored in a government warehouse.
Team Fortress 2
1
Attachment The Neon Annihilator's battery has a nod to the Facepunch forums written on it: the texture reads "def2fp", meaning Death to Facepunch. The BLU version was originally intended to say "props2fp", but was changed by Valve, possibly unintentionally.

The weapon was originally supposed to be a chinese lantern, but the idea was dropped at Valve's suggestion since it closely resembled an unused weapon called the "Baleful Beacon".
Minecraft
1
Attachment The End Stone texture is simply an inverted cobblestone texture.

Hey You, Pikachu!
1
In the Japanese version of the game, Pikachu can play with an Onigiri (Riceball). In the US version, this was changed to a Cupcake.
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
1
Attachment The Mudokon Pop was originally a severed Mudokon head on a stick. Due to an incident in Japan in which someone was murdered at a school and their head placed on a post in front of the school, the Mudokon Pop was changed to a regular ice cream shape, with cartoonish Mudokon eyes and stitches on it in the Japanese release of Abe's Oddysee, as well as Abe's Exodus in all regions, as the original appearance was deemed too similar in nature. This new logo design was also used in the "New 'N' Tasty" remake.
Epic Mickey
1
Attachment Pluto's bowl and bone can be seen in Mickey's house.

American McGee's Alice
1
Attachment The cover of the game, showing Alice holding the Vorpal Blade with blood splattered on her dress, was deemed too violent for store shelves in some regions. Alternate versions of the cover include her holding the Playing Cards or Ice Wand instead, with the blood removed.
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal
1
When Ratchet and Clank meet with the Plumber in the sewers on Aquatos, he says that they are "right on schedule". In the previous game, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, released about a year before, the Plumber had told them that he would see them in "about a year or so".
No More Heroes
1
The suggestive motion that Travis (and the player) must perform to recharge the Beam Katana resembles a masturbatory act because the japanese word, "自家発電", means both "Manual power generation" and "masturbation".
Skullgirls
1
Attachment According to Lab Zero Games, the total cost of adding a new character to the game's roster is more than $150,000:

"No doubt you've noticed the surprisingly large sum we're requesting to finish Squigly. Believe it or not, this is actually cheap for a fighting game character, and the only reason it's even this cheap is because she's already partially complete, and our staff have volunteered to take pay cuts to try and increase the odds of meeting our goal."
Rayman Legends
1
The game was originally planned to be released exclusively for the Wii U. However, because of the commercial failure of Wii U exclusive ZombiU, Ubisoft believed that Rayman Legends would not be proftiable as a Wii U exclusive, and decided to make it multi-platform.

However, rather than release the already-finished Wii U version on its previously announced release date and release the other versions later, Ubisoft decided to delay the release by 6 months so that all versions could be released simultaneously. This upset not only the fans who had been eagerly anticipating the game, but also the development team.

To try and counter-balance the negative press, Ubisoft introduced an free application to the Wii U, in the form of a Challenges App, that provided a number of different challenge based levels for users to compete for higher scores and faster times on an online leaderboard without purchasing the game.
