However, they're playable and have their own story in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations.
LEGO Universe
2
One of the biggest costs for maintaining the game was moderating the game's community by making sure that there were no obscene Lego models created by players. This meant that every single player created in-game Lego model had to be looked at and catalogued to make sure that it was age appropriate, I.E. no penises. This was to help make sure that the Lego brand remained family friendly.

One developer was almost fired when his in-game built Lego penis was discovered by a child tester during a "kid test".

Final Fantasy
subdirectory_arrow_right Final Fantasy (Franchise)
1
The Final Fantasy series' title was long rumored to stem from the idea that it would've been Square and series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's final game if it didn't perform well. According to these claims, Square was in dire financial straits in 1987, with Sakaguchi planning to quit the gaming industry and return to university studies. These claims appeared to be further corroborated when series composer Nobuo Uematsu affirmed them in a 2009 interview with Wired, claiming that Square's financial position was the main inspiration for the Final Fantasy name.

However, Sakaguchi debunked the rumors in a 2015 keynote address. In reality, Square always intended to give the first game in the series a name whose initials were "FF," as the Japanese pronunciation, エフ・エフ ("efu efu"), was considered pleasing to the ears. The developers' initial pick was Fighting Fantasy; however, it turned out that this name was already taken by a tabletop RPG series. Consequently, the title was changed to Final Fantasy. According to Sakaguchi, while Square indeed had their "backs to the wall" during development, "anything that started with an F would have been fine for the title."

Dying Light

Attachment In the Japanese release, all of the blood in the game was changed to green instead of red.
Pillars of Eternity
1
Attachment As a backer reward for the game's Kickstarter, backers had the option to provide a message to appear in-game on a memorial stone. One of the in-game memorial stones in the final version of the game had its message later changed due to it being considered by many as a hateful, transphobic joke.

A number of people were against the change, but Obsidian decided to have the messaged altered. The original message by the backer read:

"Firedorn Lightbringer
Here lies Firedorn, a hero in bed.
He once was alive, but now he's dead.
The last woman he bedded, turned out a man.
And crying in shame, off a cliff he ran.
"

After receiving numerous complaints from gamers about the quote, CEO of Obsidian, Feargus Urquhart, chose to change it and together with the backer who created it, decided on a new message.

"Here lies Firedorn, a bard, a poet
He was also a card, but most didn't know it
A poem he wrote in jest was misread
They asked for blood, so now he's just dead.
"

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
1
In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, there are quite a few unused rooms without anything in them, most of them used for testing. One of the rooms appears to be a pipe in Dimble Woods leading into bowser's body that can only be accessed through the use of hacking. It was probably removed because once you've found all the attack pieces there you had no need to go back. Another one of those rooms are in Dimble Woods, along with what appears to be the Tower Of Yikk on the ground. This might suggest that originally bowser was supposed to fight it in dimble woods, but it was replaced with Bowser's Castle.
Mr. Gimmick
1
Along with the name of the game being changed from Gimmick to Mr.Gimmick and minor alterations to the music in the European version, the player starts out with 4 lives in the Japanese version while in the English version the player starts out with 9 lives due to the intense difficulty of the game. However, it is easier to get lives in the Japanese version where if the player scores 10,000 points another life occurs at every subsequent 20,000 points, rather than 25,000 points in the European version.
F.E.A.R. Extraction Point
