During the scene where Ethan sees Spoiler:Eveline from Resident Evil VII: Biohazard in a desolate, snowy part of the village there is a partially modelled version of the interior of Ethan's house far below the geometry of the area, suggesting that it was originally going to be part of the scene, but ended up being used differently in the final game.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
1
In 2021, a speedrunner working with a group effort to decompile the game uncovered a cheat code that can turn a 0% save file into a 100% save file, likely used by the game's developers for debug purposes. To use the code, you must first plug in two controllers, turn on the game and create a new save on File 3. It does not matter if there is save data or not on File 1, but File 2 must have no save data. Then reset the game and, using the second controller, hold L when the Nintendo & HAL Laboratory logos appear and press C-Up/C-Up/R/C-Right/C-Left/Start. The 1-Up sound effect will play if done successfully, and File 3 will now hold a 100% save file.

This code can be executed on every release of the game except for the Wii Virtual Console release due to the lack of C-Button mapping for that version.

Using a specific code with a Gameshark cheat device, it's possible to view your opponent's cards in their hand during play. Utilizing this cheat, it's been discovered that the CPU opponents are programmed with an unfair advantage allowing them to change the cards drawn from their deck into entirely different cards to better suite the course of a match (i.e. changing an unnecessary Trap or Spell card into a Monster card that has high enough ATK points to destroy a powerful Monster card the player may have placed on the field the turn prior).
Street Fighter II

Computer (CPU) fighters are able to bypass certain rules that human players had to abide by:
•When high blocking, the human player is still vulnerable to low attacks like leg sweeping. However, the CPU is able to block them with a high block and immediately counterattack.
•Human players that become dizzy are immobile for a while, but the CPU can recover in only 1/5 or 1/8 of a second.
•Special moves like Guile’s Flash Kick require human players to input precise button commands to execute (Crouch for 2 second, then hit Up+Kick). But CPU fighters can execute special moves immediately. For example, Guile can execute his Flash Kick by crouching for only a second, or sometimes not at all.
•When a CPU opponent performs a hold, they’re able to tap the button quicker than is humanly possible, thus allowing them to do enough damage to deplete a full life bar by 95%.
•When low blocking, players can block low attacks such as leg sweeps. However, CPU fighters are able to bypass this and land their attacks as if they’re not being blocked.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2

Attachment Within the debug menu of T.H.U.G 2, there is an option to instantly grant the player a score of five million points.

When this debug function is activated, the text near the bottom of the screen in which the name of a trick performed during a combo would appear, instead the phrase, "You cheat like Kurt" fills in.

References to "Kurt" are a running inside joke within Neversoft, with numerous respective instances occurring in both Tony Hawk's Underground 1 as well as Underground 2 as Easter Eggs.

The iconic start-up sound of the PlayStation is actually a combination of three different clips stored in the system BIOS, which are then either sped up or slowed down to produce what is heard at the boot-up screen. These sounds also serve to check if the system is running normally and is OK to read games - errors within the system can lead to the startup sound becoming distorted.
Crash Bandicoot: Warped

Remaining idlr on the game's title screen will cause a Demonstration Mode to play. When the third Demo plays, if the player holds down triangle as the screen fades to black, they can then control Coco during her flying stage. Should the player then pause and select the Warp Room option as if to exit a level early, they will skip the introduction cutscene and immediately begin a new game with all five power ups unlocked from the start.

It is unknown if this is an elaborate hidden cheat, a potential debug function Naughty Dog utilized during development, or just simply an mistake within the game's code.

Alternatively, completing the "level" as normal will spit Crash back out into Warp Room 4. Due to the gate being locked without standard progression the player is now stuck, only able to access those five respective levels.

In the PAL version, this same feature is performed with Start instead of Triangle.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven

The infamous Red LED lights that surround the 360's power button actually represent different problems depending on how many are alight. One red light meant a hardware failure. Two red lights signify overheating. Three red lights meant a general hardware failure, and four red lights meant and AV cable error. The notorious "Red Ring of Death" is actually, contrary to it's name, a 3-Light problem (General Hardware Failure).

Attachment Winning the in-game Happy Lucky Lottery isn't actually based on luck at all, but on the date from when you bought the ticket based off of the GameCube's internal clock. The prizes are as follow: 4th prize is anywhere between 4 to 10 days, 3rd prize is 25 to 35 days, 2nd prize is 85 to 115 days, and 1st prize is 335 to 395 days. If you change the system's clock to a day prior and went back to talk to Lucky who runs the lottery, he'll know that the internal clock has been messed with. You can either admit to it or lie to not having tampered with it, however you'll need to pay 500 coins in order to reset the lottery, regardless. Daylight savings is not put into account. Buying a new ticket won't actually increase your chances of winning either but will instead reset the days back to 0 from when you bought it.

As of the 4.0.0 Update, which originally brought USB headphone support to the Switch, it was discovered that, via the use of the Wii U's Gamecube Controller Adapter, that almost every Switch game can be played with a Gamecube Controller. However, since the Gamecube Controller lacks a left Z-button the player does not have access to all of the controls of games that normally would utilize the Switch's ZL button.
