Attachment The "skooma drinking" animation in the final game is buggy and functions incorrectly. When a character is displaying the animation, their mouth clips through their head, and unlike any other animation in the game, they do not stop the animation when entering dialogue with the player.

Murder on the Mississippi

In 1986 then video game journalist Boris Schneider undertook one of the first documented fan translation efforts. Over the course of one weekend he single-handedly cracked and translated the Commodore 64 version of Murder on the Mississippi into German by using a simple hex editor and a self-written disk editor. He then sent his translated version of the game to Activision, who gave him the means to make an official translation, which they released in Germany.

According to the development team in the game's official Japanese guide book, during the planning stage they had a list of dinosaur names they wanted to include the game. Two dinosaurs that were on the list but left out of the final game are Triceratops and Ankylosaurus.

In a 'VLADTV' interview with Mike Tyson, he was asked about the offer Nintendo gave him to use his likeness for Punch-Out!!. The offer amounted to $50,000 for a 3 year deal with no royalties, which Nintendo ultimately made more than $1.7 billion on. Tyson said that he knew nothing about business at the time, and in retrospect had made a bad deal by accepting Nintendo's offer.

He chose to center his arrangement on the 4th Mega Man game because of fond memories that he had of playing the game at university.

These sounds also serve to check if the system is running normally and is OK to read games - errors within the system can lead to the startup sound becoming distorted.

Attachment During the Warhammer 40,000 crossover promotion in 2020, the game's publisher Wargaming came under scrutiny after it was made aware by Twitter user Darren Bogus that they were sponsoring controversial YouTuber Arch Warhammer to help promote it. Arch Hammer is known within the Warhammer community for his misogynistic, racist, and hateful remarks. In a statement from Wargaming on July 3rd 2020, they issued an apology and claimed that sponsoring Arch was due to "human error" and had since cut ties with him. They even admitted that they were warned beforehand by Warhammer's owners Games Workshop not to collaborate with him but had failed to follow their request.

Attachment In an update for the game released in November, 2020, two in-game podcasts featuring journalist Helen Lewis were replaced by Ubisoft after receiving complaints from concerned gamers. This was due to Lewis being known in the public for having transphobic views and writing a number of articles criticizing legislation which were in support of making gender transitioning easier.

Ubisoft told in a statement that the speaker profiles for the scripted in-game podcasts were chosen by an external producer that worked with the development team. They promised that in future they'd perform background checks on any future partners.
