WWF No Mercy
1
WWF No Mercy was notorious for a massive memory glitch that would delete all of the player's save data at any time. A fixed version was released almost a year later. The new version also had blood removed, although animations and "first blood" matches remained in the game.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
1
Performing a time stop with the characters Dio or Jotaro after an opponent has been defeated sometimes causes a glitch where the opponent remains frozen for several seconds into the next round. This virtually guarantees another loss for them, as even a single hit while frozen like this causes a large amount of damage.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

It is likely Nicholai Ginovaef's name was mistranslated based on pronunciation, as the only actual Slavic name the original transcript correlates to is Nikolai Zinoviev. Interestingly, in the Russian translation of the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse, his last name was changed to Zhukov.

Pokkén Tournament
1
Attachment The word on the title "Pokkén" is a combination of "Pokémon" and "Tekken". And the game's title and logo are very similar to Tekken Tag Tournament 2. However, the name of the game is called "Pokémon Tekken" in Germany and Austria. The title was most likely changed to avoid sounding like the German word "pocken," which means "smallpox."

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Several images on the Steam Store page and on the back of the Xbox version show scenes that are impossible in normal gameplay.

-The Steam Store page shows Bastila, the player character, and Carth fighting Mandalorians on the Unknown World.
Spoiler:It is impossible to have both Carth and Bastila in the party at this time. The only way to get Bastila in the party is to go inside the temple (which can only be entered with Jolee Bindo and Juahni), and choose the dark side option, leaving with Bastila alone. Carth cannot be added to the party at this time.

-The Steam Store page, and a different image on the back of the Xbox version, both show HK-47 on Taris.
Spoiler:HK-47 joins the party on Tatooine, which can only be reached after the destruction of Taris.

Shantae
1
According to Shantae co creator Matt Bozon, during development of the first Shantae game, publishers were having a hard time accepting the idea of having a female lead character rather than a male character.

''The most common reaction to Shantae back in the '90s was "Hey, great looking game. But who do the guys play as?" Like, we must have messed up and put the "Player 2" character in the "Player 1" spot. It felt like our work was being dismissed for no good reason, and it made no sense to me. But eventually I came to understand that these people genuinely knew their markets, and that the game would probably not sell, and that was even more irritating. So, I feel like Shantae had to exist, even if it was just to reach out and see if there was an audience reaching back."

Shantae was later picked up by Capcom in 2002 and was released on the Gameboy Color.

Life is Strange
1
Attachment The 'Eye of Providence' appears frequently around Blackwell Academy, including the girls bathroom, the Prescott Dormitory, and the entrance of the parking lot.

The 'Eye of Providence' is an ancient symbol that originally represented the all-seeing eye of God. It can be found in numerous settings both secular and religious, including the official seals of various cities, the stained glass windows of churches, and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. In popular culture, however, it has come to represent a variety of conspiracy theories, usually involving Freemasonry or the Illuminati.
