In all of the SNES versions of Final Fantasy IV, it is sometimes possible to open the menu while walking between tiles on the world map. If a Tent or Cabin is then used from the menu, it triggers the "sliding glitch." The map's collision will be shifted one tile away from the direction the player was walking. This by itself is cosmetic, however saving and reloading the game will reset the collision to match the graphics. This means the bug can be used to bypass certain map triggers or other impassible areas. This was fixed in the PlayStation version - it is no longer possible to open the menu when moving.

System Shock 2
1
System Shock 2, according to its pitch document, was originally titled "Junction Point". It was intended to expand upon the role-playing element of the original System Shock, which itself was intended to bring the gameplay of another of their games, Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss, into a science fiction setting.

The first System Shock was generally perceived to be a Doom clone, and the developers blamed this for its limited commercial success. With Junction Point, their goal was to add significant role-playing elements and a persistent storyline so as to distance the game from Doom.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

According to Omar Kendall (lead game designer of PSASBR), at one point during development, Cole MacGrath and Evil Cole MacGrath were going to be one character, who would start out neutral, and turn good or evil based on the player's actions. After this idea was dropped, they decided to just use the Hero version of the character.

However, "the IP holders felt really strongly that the way that the Cole character manifests, he really is two different guys, and they felt the character would be best served as two different and they really pushed for it."

Attachment The meaning of "Safer Sephiroth", the name of the final boss -- not counting the unloseable battle that follows -- has been the subject of debate. Many assume that it's a mistranslation of "Seraph Sephiroth", as Sephiroth's form bears an explicit resemblance to the six-winged Seraph angels (particularly as depicted in the painting "Stigmatization of St. Francis" by Giotto).

However this is not true, as the Japanese name is romanized as Sēfa Sefirosu. The actual translation is 'Sepher', which is Hebrew for the word Book. Sephiroth's name itself is based on the Hebrew word Səphīrōth, which can be translated as Numbers. The name Sepher Sephiroth can thus be translated as "Book of Numbers", one of the books in the Hebrew Bible.
