Star Wars: Battlefront

Attachment In the Tatooine Jabba's Palace map there are two unused models out of bounds. The first one is outside one of the hallways and it is a figure in a robotic suit that looks to be bound by one hand and sitting immobile and in a voluptuous position. The model's suit is the only thing fully rendered and its unfinished "skin" and "body" just appear as a black mass. The second one is an unused Command Post that's "deactivated". Interestingly, in the level's reappearance in this game's sequel, the sitting figure is completely removed but the deactivated command post is not.

Attachment In early pre-release screenshots and in the first playable demo of the game, Link could ride a canoe in Ordon Village's river, although this feature was removed from this area in the final game. These screenshots also suggest that the river was planned to be bigger and potentially a Fishing Hole before being sized down, although Hena's pond in the final game bears some resemblance to this area.

Interestingly, an unused yet fully implemented feature for canoes allows dogs to hop on and ride with Link on the bow, and then hop off when returning to land. However, dogs and canoes do not appear together in any location in the final game unless they are modded in. Seeing as Ordon Village has two dogs inside different houses and was originally meant to have canoes, it's possible this place would have done more with this feature before it was scrapped.

Though K9999 isn't playable, the data for his character is still in the arcade version and can be selected using external cheat devices. Here, he uses Kyo's icon on the select screen and Kula's while in battle. In battle, his color palette is bugged but is otherwise fully functional.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Likely a leftover feature from debug testing, a code could be activated in earlier versions of the game that can instantly kill the characters by holding ZL/ZR/L/R/X/D-Pad Down for around 5 seconds. It could also be activated in the middle of cutscenes or while talking to NPCs. This code was removed in version 2.1.0 of the game.
Final Fantasy V
1
According to director/writer Hironobu Sakaguchi and writer Yoshinori Kitase, Final Fantasy V marked the first time they worked together on a game. Kitase then commented about their working relationship during the game's development:

"Mr. Sakaguchi and I worked on [the game's] events in a relay, so when we would go to work, the first thing we'd do is check the data the other had put up to check the continuity. We'd see each other's work and think 'I'll make something even better!' in a sort of competition."

Resident Evil Village
1
During the scene where Ethan sees Spoiler:Eveline from Resident Evil VII: Biohazard in a desolate, snowy part of the village there is a partially modelled version of the interior of Ethan's house far below the geometry of the area, suggesting that it was originally going to be part of the scene, but ended up being used differently in the final game.

The skybox used throughout the whole game (including in Ethan's house and in the village) that cannot be seen during normal gameplay is a street view of Kensington Gardens, one of London's eight Royal Parks which were originally used exclusively by the British royal family, but today are now open to the public.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The model for Epona can be found outside the boundary for an arena in Faron Woods Spoiler:that gets extremely infected by Twilight later on, suggesting that the developers were thinking of allowing the player to call and use her in that area before dropping the idea.

Attachment Darknuts have a low-quality, low-polygon, and mostly featureless face underneath their helmets that cannot be seen in normal gameplay.
Dead Rising 2
1
The executive producer of Dead Rising 3 Josh Bridge, stated that Blue Castle Games had to create the game from scratch by looking at videos from Dead Rising, because they could not obtain any kind of code of the game from Capcom to build the sequel from.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
1
In 2021, a speedrunner working with a group effort to decompile the game uncovered a cheat code that can turn a 0% save file into a 100% save file, likely used by the game's developers for debug purposes. To use the code, you must first plug in two controllers, turn on the game and create a new save on File 3. It does not matter if there is save data or not on File 1, but File 2 must have no save data. Then reset the game and, using the second controller, hold L when the Nintendo & HAL Laboratory logos appear and press C-Up/C-Up/R/C-Right/C-Left/Start. The 1-Up sound effect will play if done successfully, and File 3 will now hold a 100% save file.

This code can be executed on every release of the game except for the Wii Virtual Console release due to the lack of C-Button mapping for that version.

Using a specific code with a Gameshark cheat device, it's possible to view your opponent's cards in their hand during play. Utilizing this cheat, it's been discovered that the CPU opponents are programmed with an unfair advantage allowing them to change the cards drawn from their deck into entirely different cards to better suite the course of a match (i.e. changing an unnecessary Trap or Spell card into a Monster card that has high enough ATK points to destroy a powerful Monster card the player may have placed on the field the turn prior).
Street Fighter II
1
Computer (CPU) fighters are able to bypass certain rules that human players had to abide by:
•When high blocking, the human player is still vulnerable to low attacks like leg sweeping. However, the CPU is able to block them with a high block and immediately counterattack.
•Human players that become dizzy are immobile for a while, but the CPU can recover in only 1/5 or 1/8 of a second.
•Special moves like Guile’s Flash Kick require human players to input precise button commands to execute (Crouch for 2 second, then hit Up+Kick). But CPU fighters can execute special moves immediately. For example, Guile can execute his Flash Kick by crouching for only a second, or sometimes not at all.
•When a CPU opponent performs a hold, they’re able to tap the button quicker than is humanly possible, thus allowing them to do enough damage to deplete a full life bar by 95%.
•When low blocking, players can block low attacks such as leg sweeps. However, CPU fighters are able to bypass this and land their attacks as if they’re not being blocked.

There is a Precursor orb hidden out of bounds underneath the Underport stage that can be collected using a documented hovering glitch with the JET-Board found in both this game and Jak 3, or through the game's debug mode.
Tony Hawk's Underground 2

Attachment Within the debug menu of T.H.U.G 2, there is an option to instantly grant the player a score of five million points.

When this debug function is activated, the text near the bottom of the screen in which the name of a trick performed during a combo would appear, instead the phrase, "You cheat like Kurt" fills in.

References to "Kurt" are a running inside joke within Neversoft, with numerous respective instances occurring in both Tony Hawk's Underground 1 as well as Underground 2 as Easter Eggs.

By selecting the "Load Game" option and not loading from the controller pack, a password screen will appear instead. Entering a password of all Q's and exiting out of the "Invalid password" message using the B button will unlock a Debug Menu in the Options screen. This lets players choose the level they start on, and even enable God mode, along with a few other options.

Platform: PlayStation

The iconic start-up sound of the PlayStation is actually a combination of three different clips stored in the system BIOS, which are then either sped up or slowed down to produce what is heard at the boot-up screen. These sounds also serve to check if the system is running normally and is OK to read games - errors within the system can lead to the startup sound becoming distorted.
