Attachment Several changes were made to the game during its development: the game's box art was altered, the game's title changed from Cabaret Gals to Girls RPG: Cinderella Life, hostesses being changed to “Neosiennes”, the character’s underlying goal changed to finding a legendary lucky butterfly at the castle instead of being the best hostess, and the game's marketed sale price from 5,400 yen to 4,980 yen.

Though undisclosed, it's assumed that these changes were done so try and disassociate itself from the fact that the game is about being a hostess, which is deemed as not being one of the most dignified professions in Japan.
Resident Evil Zero

The idea of not having "item boxes" in the game was based on "Sweet Home". The team wanted to remove it, so that it would feel a lot harder to play.

At one point in development, it was planned for the Working Joe enemy to quote lines from William Shakespeare in a malevolent manner. However, it was ultimately decided it didn't fit with the tone of the game and the few recorded lines were cut from the game.

In an interview, game's art director Hidenobu Takahashi stated that the title of the game came from a Formula One race car.

"To us it means a variety of specialists coming together to challenge themselves with a new design. How can we create something amazing? It’s the same as an F1 team, where they get specialists from all different fields together to build the fastest car. Attachment The art of Super Mario Odyssey reveals that Rosalina was going to appear in the game as a non-playable-character in casual attire with a guitar. The book also reveals several unused outfits for Mario, such as the green Sprixie Princess from Super Mario 3D world, a Toadette costume, a costume of a Luma from Super Mario Galaxy, and a costume of Mario in a Japanese school girl outfit.

There are two known concepts for unreleased Tingle games.

Nintendo veteran and Tingle series producer Kensuke Tanabe has claimed that in 2010, a horror game starring Tingle was in development at Vanpool, but was scrapped for "a variety of reasons". This would lead to the development of Dillon's Rolling Western.

Tanabe has stated in a 2018 interview that he had an idea for a game about Tingle turning into a "super-powered being" that he had not yet had the chance to pitch. It is not known if this game was ever seriously pitched to Nintendo or entered development after the interview, however the shuttering of Tingle series developers Vanpool means that it is highly unlikely it'll see the light of day.
