The game was originally called Legacy of Goku 3: Buu's Fury, but the Legacy of Goku part was dropped by Atari for what appeared to be marketing reasons.

When Goku starts giving a demonstration about super saiyans to Majin Buu and Babidi, Buu says "Super...Saiya...Jin?" This is a reference to the Japanese name for Super Saiyan, Sūpā Saiya-jin.

Attachment There is an unused Great Saiyaman transformation for Gohan in his school uniform complete with an unused icon, name and description. It grants all the same benefits as the Super Saiyan transformation but it doesn't use any ki.
