The game was later adapted into a two-part OVA (Original Video Animation) special released onto 2 VHS tapes, dubbed as "Official Visual Guides" featuring a full voice cast and original soundtrack. Later the anime special was turned into a two-part game for the Bandai Playdia as an interactive FMV game featuring new scenes and alternate paths and endings. The special would later be remade and released alongside Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.
