There are unused character select animations within the game's code. These animations would play whenever a character is selected by the player. Because this feature was removed early in development, only the base roster has this feature.

If one uses a camera hack on the lobby and zooms out they can see two modes on the map out of the player's reach that are currently not used in the game. The first mode is Z League which features a golden Mr. Satan statue in the middle of it and the second one is Raid Battle which features a Saiyan pod. What these modes do are currently unclear.

When certain conditions are met the game will display a dramatic intro or dramatic finish which recreates a scene from the manga, but the dramatic finish displayed by defeating Nappa with Yamcha is a game exclusive scene Spoiler:in which Nappa is left in a similar pose to the one Yamcha was in when he died fighting against Nappa and Vegeta.

Using Beerus' level 3 super move "God of Destruction's Judgement" to finish off Goku Black will instead have Beerus perform "Destruction" referencing the moment in the series where Beerus destroys Zamasu before he tries to steal Goku's body. This is further evident by the fact that Beerus will refer to Goku Black as Zamasu in the win screen.
