If the player switches out Gotenks (SSJ3), the character can be heard saying "Peanut Butter Jelly Time". This is a reference to the internet meme of the same name, which was popular around Tenkaichi 3's release.

Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta's Final Shine Attack is incorrectly colored Blue in this game, in Dragon Ball GT (where the attack comes from) it's green. What's strange about this is the fact that in it's predecessor this attack is the correct color.

By entering a Dueling Match with any character that has an electric aura around them and then choosing to fight again once the match is over, they will no longer have an aura around them.

In the Character Reference section, Chi-Chi says that she would like to have met Grandpa Gohan. However, she met him in the last episodes of Dragon Ball. The game might be disregarding this, as it was anime-only filler.
In "Dragon History", the game's story mode, during the fight with Nam, Mr. Satan/Hercule is shown on the signs and blimps even though he is not the champion at that point in the story. This can be attributed to the stage being more or less the same throughout the series, so making a whole new stage without Mr. Satan/Hercule just for this scenario would be wasteful.

Nuova Shenron is spelled two ways. On the character selection it's spelled 'Nuova Shenron', but in the GT saga, the subtitles for Goku spell it 'Nova Shenron'.
