Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the first game in the series that requires players to select a stage before selecting a character in multiplayer matches. In previous entries, as is common in other fighting games, it was the opposite. This is an attempt by Masahiro Sakurai to change up the strategy of the game (specifically stage-character match-ups).

Attachment Solid Snake's series logo was changed from the FOX emblem that was used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, to the exclamation point seen when being caught in most Metal Gear Solid games.

This is likely because the FOX emblem (which first appeared in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater) is also commonly associated with series creator Hideo Kojima and his company Kojima Productions, a former subsidiary of Konami. Kojima left Konami in 2015 and the removal of the FOX emblem to represent the series is likely a biproduct of the split.

subdirectory_arrow_right Harvest Moon (Franchise)
1
The Bokujō Monogatari series, as it's originally known in Japan, which translates to "Farm Story", was known in the West as Harvest Moon up until 2014 where it was changed to Story of Seasons. This was because Western localization of the series was handed over to XSEED, a subsidiary of Marvelous AQL who owns Bokujō Monogatari, instead of to Natsume, who had been localizing the series in the West since the very first title. Because Natsume owned the trademark for Harvest Moon and not Marvellous, Natsume decided to create their own series of original games under the Harvest Moon name, prompting XSEED to rename the Bokujō Monogatari series in the West to Story of Seasons.

Attachment Steam: Rails to Riches, along with Acram Digital's other title Eight-Minute Empire, were removed by Valve from the digital distribution service Steam after it was discovered that Grzegorz Kubas, a staff member of Acram, had been leaving positive reviews on their game's Steam pages. In a statement from Valve in regards to Acram they said "we have removed all games/DLC developed by Acram from our store, and will no longer be doing business with [them]."

Kubas later published a post on reddit apologizing for the situation and claimed the reason he did it was in spite of some "bad, unfair reviews".
