In the Game Boy Advance version of Crash Nitro Kart, pressing L and R as the game starts up will launch a secret minigame titled "Crash Party USA". This minigame would later be carried over to both Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage and Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy with the same unlock method on the main menu. However, in Crash Bandicoot Purple, Crash's sprites are switched out for Spyro and the minigame is now called "Spyro Party USA".

Blink the Mole is incorrectly named Blinky.

The text used in the cutscenes of this game is a purple colour in the Japanese version, but white for the US and EU versions.
