In Stage 5 of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, there is a secret passageway that can only be accessed by Maria. It leads to a white object resembling a mirror or doorway that cannot be interacted with. In the PSP remake, a Soundtrack item can be found here.

Attachment In the Xbox version of the game, entering a profile name as PlumRugOfDoom (case-sensitive), loading the "Prodigy" map, and selecting the Terrorists will will cause the terrorist model to have a purple streak dyed into their hair. This is apparently a reference to a developer at Ritual Entertainment's hairstyle at the time.

The Gamecube disc for Pikmin actually contains a Windows executable file. When run on a computer, the game will launch in a very glitchy state. In the game's debug menu is a mode titled "Game-Mode". Enabling this mode will fix several issues.

Attachment The description for Punk Hazard usually reads, "The land of ice and fire. A difficult battle awaits in this hostile environment." In the US 3DS version however, the description reads, "Beware the tear-inducing assault it unleashes when cut. Cook it to draw out its natural sweetness.". This seems to be a glitch where the game replaces Punk Hazard's description with that of the Super Onion's description. This glitch is only found in the 3DS version.

Attachment In the original Dreamcast release, it was possible to climb the fencing in the Undermill with Juliette. This leads down to a scrapped part of the level, where Juliette's original training level was supposed to take place. The ability to climb the fence was removed and the gap was raised in all other versions.

Worms Armageddon had two versions of the Wormsong included in the game. The main version, Wormsong '99, can be heard in the main menu playing in the background. The second version can be heard when viewing the statistics screen after a battle and letting the background music roll, but only in the PC version. This version has somewhat different lyrics spoken in a Scottish accent, similar to the Angry Scots soundbank available for the worms.

In the Game Boy Color enhanced releases of the game, while it's still possible to play the game on a Game Boy or a Game Boy Color, the save files for both systems were not compatible with each other. For this reason, when trying to play a Game Boy Color save file on a Game Boy (or vice versa) the game will go through a set of menus to delete the old save data to accommodate that of the other system.

While modding the PC version, a user by the name of "The Worse" found almost all of the shaders and graphical improvements present in the 2012 and 2013 trailers for the game. It's possible that the PC version's graphics were downgraded so that it would not make the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions look drastically inferior by comparison.

According to Shinji Mikami, the developer of the game, the Super Nintendo box art originally featured the Genie on the front cover. However, Disney would not allow him to be featured on the front cover and he had to be moved to the back, in a much smaller image. Despite this, the Genie appeared on the front cover of the Genesis game.

While all versions share the same name, every one is it's own game with it's own unique mechanics. All four also had their own unique developers. The Super Nintendo version is a 2-D side scrolling action game with two lanes, akin to the two lane system in the early Fatal Fury series. The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version is a 2-D side-scrolling beat-'em up. The Game Boy Version is a side scrolling action game, and is most similar to the SNES version, but with a single lane. The Game Gear Version is a competitive fighting game.

It's possible for Tails to drown in the Hero Chao garden. If he stands in the deep water for 20 seconds or so, a countdown will begin and he will start to drown. This does not deplete the player's lives, and only works with Tails. This does not work in the GameCube installment as the water is not as deep.
