Attachment During the game's prerelease period, the player was given a set number of lives. This was removed from the final version, where the player only has 1 life.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

There was a discrepancy in Phoenix Wright's level 3 Hyper Combo. When dealing the final blow, he would say "Take this!", while his speech bubble displays "Take that!". This was later fixed in the Heroes and Heralds patch.
Portal 2

Attachment After the Authoring Tools update, the Adhesion Gel (which allowed Chell to defy gravity) was replaced with the Reflection Gel, a gel that reflects lasers. It also reflects the turrets' laser sights, but this is just a cosmetic feature and doesn't affect their actual "vision".

When the 'Meet the Spy' video was released, The Sniper playermodel was updated in the game, adding the scar that the sniper got in the video. Previously, he had no scar on his face. It was never taken off the player model, and still has the scar.

There is an unused enemy in the game called Giant. This mob is a huge Zombie with considerable health and deals heavy damage. They can only be hurt by being hit in the legs. Giants were added in the last version of Survival Test, but haven't been used since. They can still be spawned through hacks, however. Additionally, they can be spawned using the command "/summon Giant" in version 1.7 of the game.
Worms

Wormsong '95 can only be heard if the original game disc is played as an audio CD in a CD player or the like. Despite essentially being the theme of the game, it cannot be heard during gameplay. However, the later versions (Reinforcements and United) added a Wormsong Instrumental Remix as the theme of the game, yet that version still lacked the lyrics.

Attachment A Golden Frying Pan weapon was added in The Two Cities update. However, unlike the 19 generic Australium weapons introduced at the same time, the Golden Frying Pan shares an unusual trait with previous rare items made of Australium: enemies killed with it will turn into a golden statue. Whenever earned in a Mann vs. Machine game, a global message is displayed that states the owner's name. Since the update, only a few have been found, with the first one selling on the Steam Marketplace for $5,500.
Warframe

A hidden minigame based on Flappy Bird was added in the 12.1.0 update.

Warframe and Zephyr honor Flappy Bird's removal from the gaming world. How? There are two ways...
One, Zephyr owners should explore their Arsenal...
Two, those that don't own Zephyr should think about a bird-like-word to log in to Warframe... no "@" required.
Halo 3

The Beta release included an achievement called "Cheneymania", awarded for killing 10 opponents in a row with the shotgun without dying. This is a reference to former United States vice-president Dick Cheney, who accidentally shot someone with a shotgun.

Attachment There are several different revisions of the game with small but notable changes.
• The earliest versions, released in 1999, required the disc to be in the drive, but the 2001 release removed this requirement.
• The trophies on the player's license for beating each boss go unused in the 2001 release.
• The map on the loading screen in the original release filled the entire screen, and these were gradually changed in subsequent versions, with the map being reduced in size and displayed in the middle of the blue studded background used for menu screens.

There are quite a few base potions in the game's code that were left with no method to craft them in 1.9 beta pre-release 3. These potions include: Clear, Diffuse, Artless, Thin, Bungling, Suave, Smooth, Debonair, Charming, Refined, Cordial, Sparkling, Potent, Rank, Acrid, Gross, and Stinky.

While they can still be obtained using commands, they have no effect, and take the appearance of a water bottle.

The voice lines "No otha' class' gonna do dat!", "If you order now, I'll throw in a second beatin', absolutely free!", and "Look at this: just caved in your skull, my Bat's still dry. No clumps of hair - nothin'." were added in The Scout Update to the game after fans noticed a resemblance between the Scout and TV pitchman Vince Offer. Offer is best known for being the pitch man for the ShamWow! and these voice lines are parodied from this commercial.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

The Color Dungeon in the DX re-release is the only location in the game where green Rupees are found. These are worth five Rupees each, while blue Rupees, the only color found elsewhere (i.e. in all locations present in the original version of the game), are worth one. This is a reversal of the values of green and blue Rupees found in most other games in the series.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Attachment In patch 1.12, the Ray Gun Mark II was unintentionally added to every zombie map before the DLC Vengeance came out for Xbox 360. It was later removed with a hotfix a few weeks later.

Attachment The painting in the meeting room of the First World Bank depicts Team 7200, the first team to get inside the secret "Overvault". The painting of them was added through a patch. There is a 30% chance the painting will have changed, in addition to there being some creepy music heard from a nearby CD player and lit candles being on the table. The patch also added two plaques in the vault that have the names of the people who helped find the secret.

Meant to be a revised version for bug fixes and whatnot, Rockman.EXE3 Black was released in Japan some time after the initial EXE3 was released. Black was released internationally as Battle Network 3 Blue and regular, no-color EXE3 is known as Battle Network 3 White internationally. There are many differences between the two, such as an exclusive battle against Punk in Blue/Black, different color schemes for buildings and objects (the squirrel is ACDC park is an example), different Giga Chips, and Style Changes exclusive to each version.

Attachment A Police Box would randomly appear throughout random locations of Dereth, a reference to the TARDIS from the science fiction series "Doctor Who". Members of Organization XIII were supposed to be enemies in Olympus Coliseum battles, but were left out of the original game's release due to time constraints. They were later included in the Final Mix version of the game.

Attachment The iOS and Android apps were updated in March 2013 by Sonic community hackers Taxman and Stealth from the ground up, using the Retro Engine also used in the HD remake of Sonic CD (the engine is named after Sonic Retro, a prominent Sonic fansite). Besides featuring a constant 60fps, this remake has a ton of extras, such as the ability to play as Tails, Knuckles and Super Sonic, being able to collect the seventh Chaos Emerald (which allows the player to become the aforementioned Super Sonic), adding Elemental Shields from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, turning on and off the Spike Bug and the ground/air speed caps, and, last but not least, you can add prototype characters and sprites through debug mode, like Splats the Bunny (a Green Hill Zone enemy that never made it into the final game) and the UFOs in Marble Zone.
