One of the camera feeds that the player can hack into shows a father watching his son play a video game. The father is mocking how the assassin in the game talks to the people he kills. This is a reference to the Assassin's Creed series (also developed by Ubisoft), in which the protagonists talk to the people they kill before they die.

The music that plays when the player begins Phase 1 is Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik", which is also featured in Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

The Rest Area Music in Allstar Mode is a remake of The Great Cave Offensive's Save Area Music from Kirby Super Star.

Allstar Mode itself may be based on Kirby Superstar's Arena Mode, as both have the player fighting a number of random enemies, finishing off with a consistent final opponent. Both modes feature a lobby between fights that displays which opponent the player will fight next, and a limited stock of healing items that do not replenish between fights.

Attachment The battle with Psycho Mantis includes a pre-fight "demonstration" of Mantis' psychic abilities, in which Mantis will read the player's memory card. If the player has save data from one of several Konami PlayStation games on their memory card, Mantis will reference that game by name. The games that trigger this dialogue are Suikoden, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Vandal Hearts and Azure Dreams.

In the Japanese release, both Policenauts and Snatcher are also recognized. Having save data from both of these games will trigger a message from Hideo Kojima, thanking the player for their continued support, but since both of those games were only released in Japan, this message cannot be heard normally in international versions of the game.

Attachment In an earlier version of the co-op plot, GLaDOS sends Atlas and P-Body out to find "artifacts" of the long-dead Aperture workers (coffee cups and such) to make them more human. Unused audio files from this period of development can still be found within the games files, revealing that in one of the rooms a comic strip is found, presumably Garfield from how it is described.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

In the side op Intel Operative Rescue, the player has to help an agent get into the helicopter. In the end cutscene, he is revealed as the creator of the Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima. After the mission, he'll be in the helicopter in the main menu and waiting a while on the mission select screen will make him spin the list of missions.

Attachment At the beginning of sector 6, bypassing the puzzle by moving along a narrow ledge will lead the player to a hidden set of stairs. Down these stairs is a room containing a picture of the developers on a block.
Super Smash Bros. Melee

The music in Fountain Of Dreams is an orchestral remix of the Gourmet Race theme from Kirby Super Star. This remix was used in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land during the battle against King Dedede, and has since been recognized as the fountain's theme. Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land was most likely in development during the creation of Super Smash Bros. Melee, and so the fountain's music was added as a teaser for the upcoming GBA game.
Kirby & the Amazing Mirror

Attachment Master Hand and Crazy Hand from the Super Smash Bros. series both make an appearance in this game as one of the main bosses, with Master Hand also appearing as a mini-boss throughout the overworld. Both attack similarly to their Super Smash Bros. counterparts.

Defeating the Master Hand mini-boss also allows the player to inhale Master Hand, giving the player the "Smash" ability, where Kirby can use all of his Super Smash Bros. moves.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Attachment The city destroyed in the game's introduction has the skyline of Toronto, Ontario. This is likely a joke by Ubisoft Montreal, developers of the game, in reference to the "rivalry" between Montreal and Toronto.

During Season 3 of the Arena sidequest, the final boss is a giant Muruk that flies into the arena while spinning very fast with flames shooting out of its shell. This is most likely a reference to Gamera, from the films of the same name, who is a giant monster turtle that flies in a similar fashion.
