Metroid: Other M
1
Attachment In Metroid: Other M, Samus Aran has a mole under the left side of her lip. This was the first Metroid game to add this detail. However, it had been mentioned before. Co-creator of the Series, Yoshio Sakamoto, stated in an interview after the release of Super Metroid that he was the only person that knew of the location of Samus' beauty spot. A mole was also drawn on Samus' face in concept art for Metroid Prime, but did not appear in the game.

They are red when the Forest of Hope is accessible, yellow when The Forest Navel is accessible, green for The Distant Spring, blue for The Final Trial and purple when the Secret Safe is returned.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
1
Attachment The battle backgrounds are actually 512 pixels wide by 256 pixels tall. However, only a 240x160 pixel area is visible during play, a little more than 25% of the total image. It's possible that they were intended to scroll during battle. The final battle has some scrolling, and the concept was later used in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
Team Fortress 2
1
Attachment The Team Captain hat is based off M. Bison's hat from Street Fighter. The flavor text "Our lawyers say 'YES! YES!'" is a reference to a scene in the Street Fighter cartoon where M.Bison exclaims 'YES! 'YES!' after witnessing Guile's defeat, which developed into an internet meme.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
1
Collecting all 60 masks in game will unlock Cole's Amp from InFamous.
Dead Rising
1
Attachment During development, Frank's appearance was originally much rougher, and he had a different voice actor.
Platform: Nintendo 64
1
Attachment The Nintendo 64 was originally called the Ultra 64, as a tribute to several toys they manufactured in the late 1960's such as the Ultra Hand. However, Konami still held a trademark on the name "Ultra Games", and Nintendo was forced to change the name and logo for their new console.
Fallout: New Vegas
1
The challenge "A Slave Obeys" requires the player to Spoiler:kill Mr. House with the 9 Iron or Nephi's Golf Driver. This is a reference to the original Bioshock, in which the player Spoiler:beats the game's main antagonist, Andrew Ryan, to death with a 9 iron while he repeats the words "A man chooses, a slave obeys."
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
1
Attachment In the first game, Gremlin Prescott's coat was blue. In the sequel, it appears purple at first but suddenly becomes blue again towards the end of the game.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
1
Attachment The "Kicker Skeleton" enemy wears a red scarf and attacks by leaping into the air with its arms outstretched, then delivering a flying kick. These two elements are a reference to the Japanese superhero, Kamen Rider, who is known for his flying-kick finishing move and his red scarf. If Soma acquires the Kicker Skeleton's soul, he will gain a flying-kick ability, and the enemy also has a chance to drop wearable "Red Scarf" and "Ancient Belt" items.

The Ancient Belt alludes to the many belts which give the Kamen Riders their powers. Its description explains that it "lends the wearer a positive attitude", a reference to Kamen Rider Kuuga, whose belt, The Arcle, was not only an artifact from an ancient civilization but who is also characterized by his unusually upbeat and optimistic personality. The "Ancient Belt" item's box-like design mirrors Kamen Rider Black's belt, the King Stone. Ironically, neither Kamen Rider Black nor Kamen Rider Kuuga wore scarves, unlike many of the early Riders.
Dead Rising 2

Within the game's text files, an "Ending E" is mentioned. However, no other data relating to it exists in the final version.
Resident Evil: Revelations

Attachment The Weed Tendonizer weapon pays homage to the film Machete, in which the main character, Machete, makes the same weapon.
Grand Theft Auto IV
1
Cash registers throughout the game have a button that reads "Ask CJ". This is visible through the use of a sniper rifle, zooming in on the keypad of the cash register. This is a reference to CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
1
Attachment In the Swamp of Evil, where the Misery Mire dungeon is located, there are three enemies that do not load properly, rendering them invisible. Despite this, they can still attack and take damage, though will remain unseen by the player.

These invisible enemies are Ku, some of which can be seen in the Swamp of Evil. The ones that do load properly are positioned in the deep water of the swamp, while the invisible ones are located in shallow water. It's likely the enemies were only programmed to function in deep water, and thus either the terrain was different during development, or the enemies were simply misplaced.
Half-Life 2
1
The G-man can be seen in the distance at various points in the story, appearing to be watching over the player. The locations in which he appears are almost all unreachable, and he walks out of view as the player approaches.
Skylanders: Giants
1
Attachment Within the game's data are two unused characters. One of them is simply named "Debug Minion", and was probably used for testing. The other, Sniper, appears as a green-skinned troll with a large pistol and sniper rifle, similar to an earlier design of Boomer. However, his stats screen displays a red version of Spyro.
