An unused subaction and corresponding animation exist for Zero Suit Samus' Plasma Whip Side-B, labelled "SpecialSItemGet". There are also two other unused throwing animations for Samus labeled as "SpecialSThrowS" and "SpecialSThrowHi".

Presumably, the attack would originally have grabbed items from a distance and slung them away as a projectile, a function that would have been unique to the character. It may have been removed due to it interfering when players were attempting to hit another player with the whip.
Crash Bandicoot: Warped

Attachment Toys for Tiny Tiger and Dingodile were created by Resaurus Toys, but were only seen at a convention. It's not known if they were from the unreleased series 3, or just scrapped figures from the previous series.
Franchise: Crash Bandicoot
1
Attachment Toy company Resaurus Toys produced action figures based on the first three games from 1998-2000. Only two series were produced, likely because of their fragility. A third series was planned, but never made it past concept art. It would have included an arctic Crash variant, Koala Kong, Papu-Papu, N. Brio, Pinstripe, and Ripper Roo.
Mega Turrican

Attachment In the game's data, there are unused sprites that appear to be Mario and Sonic frozen in carbonite in the same manner as Han Solo in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. They were most likely to appear after the first mini-boss, according to screenshots previewing the game in the German magazine Amiga Games.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies

Apollo's ringtone is a remix of "The Guitar's Serenade" from Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice. The performance of this song, by The Gavinners featuring Lamiroir, was central to the "Turnabout Serenade" case in that game.
Star Command

Attachment The "Spine Reticulate" upgrade for the Shield Booster room, along with the mention of city production in its description, are references to the SimCity series and its recurring gag involving "Reticulating Spines".
Final Fantasy VII
1
The original idea for the game had it set in modern New York City in the year 1999, and was intended to have a "detective story" theme, with a character called "Hot Blooded Detective Joe". The early script had him chasing the main characters, who would then blow up the city of Midgar.
Spyro the Dragon

Attachment In an early demo, there was an additional gem awarded to the player for entering the 'Return Home' whirlwind.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Franchise: Ecco the dolphin
1
According to the series creator, the name 'Ecco' is not a purposeful misspelling of the word 'Echo', but was chosen because 'ecco' loosely means 'to see' in Italian.
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Neither Roy nor Sheik appear as opponents or allies in Melee's Classic Mode (though Sheik can appear if Zelda transforms during battle). Ganondorf also cannot be fought, yet he can show up as an ally. Despite their absences, all three have their own intro poses programmed into the disc.
Grand Theft Auto V

Attachment In the mission "Derailed", the player must jump a dirtbike off a ramp and land on top of a train. One of the gold medal objectives, titled "Better than CJ", requires the player to make the jump using the first of several ramps.

This objective is a reference to the mission "Wrong Side of the Tracks" in GTA: San Andreas, where Carl Johnson (CJ), must chase a train on a dirtbike. One way of beating the mission is to drive up a series of ramps, and jump onto the train. The mission is notoriously difficult, and Big Smoke's line upon failing it became an internet meme: "All we had to do, was follow the damn train, CJ!"
Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen
1
Attachment This is the series' first game on a Nintendo console, and there are two unlockable costumes based on Nintendo characters. One is Samus' Zero Suit and the other is Luigi's outfit.
Call of Duty: Ghosts
1
Attachment The I.E.D.s have a picture of a dinosaur drawn on them, along with the words "Playful Secrets". This seems like it might be a reference to the competing [urli=series/battlefield/]Battlefield[/urli] series, which frequently features dinosaur-themed easter eggs.
Fallout 3
1
Attachment Just outside of Big Town, there is a utility pole in the exact center of the game map with a unique plate that reads "TES-04."

This is a reference to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, also by Bethesda. The placing of this pole in the map center likely suggests a reference to TES IV's most notable landmark, the White Gold Tower, which is considered to be the central point of the continent of Tamriel as well as the Imperial Empire in The Elder Scrolls games.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Attachment When the Mystery Box is not active in the Zombies game mode, a teddy bear will be left in its place. Every so often, the bear will move its head, as though assessing the area, and then return to its original position.
