I Wanna Be the Guy
1
The Kid's design came about as the game's designer, Micheal O'Reilly, was speaking with a friend about the difficulties of making sprite art. He made something very quickly that he would wind up using for the game. He notes that he didn't think I Wanna Be The Guy would become popular, so he really didn't put that much effort into the Kid's design, as it was simply a project where he was attempting to learn how to make video games.
Team Fortress 2
1
Attachment During the Meet the Medic trailer, when Archimedes gets hit with a piece of the Heavy's heart, a figure standing in an observation room above the surgical area can be seen.

This is most likely Miss Pauling, the Administrator's assistant in the the Team Fortress 2 comics, who keeps an eye on the mercenaries.
Guitar Hero
1
The sound producers wanted to make the cover songs as authentic as they could. When they found out that Ozzy Osbourne used a metal fan to record the intro to "Iron Man," they found the same model fan on Craigslist to recreate the same vocal effect for their cover version used in the game.

Several of Mario's voiced lines didn't exist in the original Japanese version of the game, and were added for western releases:

• "Let's-a go!" when choosing a star.
• "Game over." when Mario runs out of lives.

• "Boing!" - when bouncing off of a Spindrift's head.

• In the opening sequence, Mario says "Yahoo! Ha ha!" when he leaps out of the pipe instead of just "Yahoo!" in the Japanese version.

There are unused sounds for the Rescue Ranger. The sound names imply that at one point during development, the weapon was able to move buildings and to be charged to fire a (probably) more powerful shot. These abilities were presumably removed for balancing reasons.
