The Vanilla Lake 1 and Vanilla Lake 2 tracks take place at the same lake, but at different points in time. The outer boundary of the lake remains nearly identical between the two tracks, while the borders in the center of Vanilla Lake 1 are removed in Vanilla Lake 2 as the ice holding them has thawed and broken off into open water.
