As part of a collaboration with the TV series "Peacemaker" in 2025, an emote based on the dance the titular character does in the intro of the show's second season called "Peaceful Hips" was added to the game. However, following the release of the episode "Ignorance Is Chris", the emote was temporarily disabled by Epic Games while they "[inquired] into our partner's creative intentions in this collab emote", even promising refunds in the event that the emote did not return. This was due to the aforementioned episode revealing that Earth-2 Spoiler:is actually Earth-X, a parallel universe within the DC Comics Universe where Nazi Germany won World War II and the world is populated by white supremacists. Many fans online speculated the creative intentions of the dance, with some theorizing it was meant to evoke the imagery of either a letter H, or a Spoiler:swastika. However, the choreography for the season's intro actually appears to have been lifted from or inspired by the music video to the song "Oh Lord" by rock band Foxy Shazam, which is also the theme music that plays during the intro. Series creator James Gunn called them his favorite band while promoting the season and previously used their music in the pilot episode of the show, later citing the song's lyrics, music video and its dancing as a key inspiration for the second season. Epic Games issued a statement four days later announcing the emote would be re-instated with an updated animation the following week, and that Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed it was not meant to be connected to the twist reveal.
