The sorcerous NPC character Selvius may be based on the enigmatic wizard Severus Snape from the Harry Potter franchise. Both have similar first names and Selvius speaks in a posh, judgmental, and condescending tone just as British actor Alan Rickman does frequently in his performance as Snape in the Harry Potter film series.

As of Build 1.03.2, If a player is wearing the Black Knife Set outfit while attempting to use the Mimics Veil, their character model and any weapons they have equipped will be sticking outside of the object they transform into.

As of Version 1.04.01, there is a glitch in which Malenia will regain health while attacking a player character that is in their long death animation.
