Multiple characters from the Game Boy Advance version of Crazy Frog Racer all had their names changed from development to release.

• Mafia Hen was called Mafia Chicken
• Dream Boy was called Manga Boy
• Big Elk was called Elch
• Rasta Dog was called Gangsta Dog
• Toro was called Stier "Maredo"
• Puschel was called Eichhörnchen

Punk Girl and the Crazy Frog were the only characters to keep their names.

Despite the Game Boy Advance version of Crazy Frog Racer being rated for all ages, Rasta Dog's model has what appears to be a marijuana cigarette resting in his mouth, and is just barely visible in-game due to sprite compression.

Puschel the Squirrel is named after Puschel, das Eichhorn, the German title for the anime Bannertail: The Story of Gray Squirrel, and her character design resembles a squirrel character from the series named Sue.

Early screenshots for Crazy Frog Racer on Game Boy Advance show an alternative logo that does not match up with either, the other versions of the game, or the Crazy Frog logo used at the time.
