The PC port of the game was re-worked for PC as Dean Dodrill said on his Twitter, in reply to a tweet from Total Biscuit, saying: "I'm primarily a PC Gamer, so I created the Port that I would be happy with as a PC Gamer."
Other things were changed or added in, such as re-recorded dialogue to note keys as "Attack Buttons" rather than "X" or "Y", along with HUD layout options and various other options that weren't available in the original Xbox Live version.

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Attachment The first batch of Nintendo Switch consoles suffered an issue where the left Joy-Con would frequently desync as the result of a manufacturing error. This could be remedied by placing a small square of conductive foam atop the Joy-Con's antenna traces, which would significantly reduce interference. Nintendo themselves would amend the desyncing issue in later batches of the Switch.

In the console versions of the 2011 rerelease, the main menu and loading screens are rendered in 4:3, as opposed to 16:9 like the rest of the game. As such, they feature a border. This border is not featured in the PC version of the rerelease, since the main menu and loading screens are rendered in 16:9 like the rest of the game. However, the border is still in the PC version's files as "border1_left.tga".

Similarly, the console versions also feature a title screen, which goes unused in the PC version since neither the 2000 original or the 2011 version have a title screen. This is also in the PC versions files, as "title_bg.tga".

Faceball 2000
subdirectory_arrow_right Midi Maze (Game)
1
Faceball 2000 is a port of an earlier first person shooter maze game called MIDI Maze for the Atari ST. The game constructed multiplayer networks using the MIDI interface, and up to 16 computers could be networked in a "MIDI Ring" by connecting one computer's MIDI-OUT port to the next computer's MIDI-IN port.

The Game Boy version of Faceball 2000 retained this networking capability, and is the only Game Boy game capable of supporting 16 players simultaneously. It did so by connecting multiple copies of the Game Boy's Four Player Adapter to one another, so that each additional adapter added another two players up to the maximum. Seven such adapters were needed for a full 16 player experience. It currently holds the Guinness World Record for "Most players on a single Game Boy multiplayer session".
