Two weeks were spent creating an initial pool of 720 trap ideas, after a few days deliberation and examination it was decided that 45 traps would be needed. A number of further screening processes were needed to bring down the total to 45.

Producer Keisuke Kikuchi renamed the game Trapt from its original title of "Deception 4" because he considered it the first part of a new series. The next installment in the series would be titled Deception IV: Blood Ties.

Attachment Character designer, Kimihiko Fujisaka, has said in a Famitsu interview that he was embarrassed to see his designs from ten years ago and especially regretted Caim's design. When he redrew Caim for Lord of Vermillon, Fujisaka's main goal for his outfit was to do something which was impossible for the team to render during Drakengard's development.

Yoko became director only because Iwasaki was too busy with other projects at the time. Yoko was originally planned to be the art director. Iwasaki and Shiba had no experience writing stories and were mainly driven to have as many game mechanics and content as possible over creative issues. Yoko considers Iwasaki the "true father" of the series.

The Atomizer's original design was a simple re-skin of the Sandman bat, originally conceived with the name "The Atomic Punch". The name was likely changed to avoid confusion with Bonk! Atomic Punch.

The musical legend Chubby Checker recorded the original version of the Dig Dug commercial theme. However, this version was never used in the finished commercial for unknown reasons. The tape holding this recording was unearthed by Matt Osborne, son of former Atari vice president Don Osborne, over 30 years after the airing of the famous commercial.

Taro Yoko asked one of the main scenario writers, Sawako Natori, to have Mikhail "embody the good traits found in animals and children". Natori decided to borrow elements from fiction and strove to make Mikhail adorable. She had the most fun writing him.

Attachment According to Daisuke Ishiwatari, Bedman's design was meant to be iconic and stand out among Guilty Gear's characters. He said that one of the character designs happened to be in a bed, and he felt it would make him different in comparison to the rest of the cast.
JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Ougon no Kaze

The game was originally going to have an international release, but was eventually cancelled due to unknown reasons. It's believed the cancellation was due to copyright issues surrounding the names of the characters' Stands, all of which are musical references (i.e Gold Experience is named after the Prince album of the same name).

The original name of the game was simply "Tale Phantasia" and the developer was originally Wolfteam, creators of El Viento. The game was originally based off of programmer Yoshiharu Gotanda's unpublished novel, also called "Tale Phantasia".

The main cast originally had much different designs that ended up changed late in development when it was decided to have the characters designed by manga arist Kosuke Fujishima. The change was so late in development that the SNES version's character sprites are still based off of the original concept designs (i.e Mint looking far younger and wearing blue as opposed to her current design depicting her as mid-to-late teenage and wearing white.)

Brambart was also originally planned to be playable.

It's possible that Tweeters were originally going to appear in the game. Tweeter graphics from Super Mario All-Stars appear in the game's code, and could have been place holder graphics for the enemy.

The crew filmed a number of shots on video as reference material for the CG animation in the game's cinematics. While filming, elements such as dust were shot, which were never intended to appear in the final product. However, the staff felt that it gave a good effect, and so it was later added to the CG animations.

It was originally intended for the game's cinematics to explain why Marius is found within the room in the opening and closing cinematics, but it was omitted. The building was intended to be a sort of asylum, as he had gone crazy after everything he had seen, and that he was found screaming about the events that occurred before he was taken in.
