The fifth case, "Rise From the Ashes", is the only case in the Ace Attorney games that doesn't have "turnabout" in the title. Strangely, the Japanese name for the case is "Yomigaeru Gyakuten", "gyakuten" being the Japanese equivalent for turnabout.

Dee Vasquez was originally designed to be male, but this was changed after the developers realized Spoiler:that all of the killers were ending up as men during development.

In the original art, Phoenix Wright has brown eyes as he does in-game. However, in the official art created for the DS release, he has blue eyes.
