Seaman

Attachment A PC version of the game was in development titled Seaman for Windows Ver. 1.0, and unlike the Dreamcast version which was a game, it would've been more of a communication tool and a pet for your desktop. The program would automatically run when turning on your PC and speak to you in the background. Seaman would also interact with your email, chat features, and other PC tasks. The game was, however, never released.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

The game was originally conceived as an MMORPG, when it was under the development of ##38 Studios##, codenamed Copernicus. The studio decided to retool an existing single-player RPG to be set within the same universe in order to introduce the Amalur MMORPG. The idea was later scrapped after ##38 Studios## and ##Big huge games## were shut down.

The game was originally scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 3 and feature PlayStation Move support, but in August 2014, the game was reintroduced as a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

A version of Sonic Riders was also being developed for the Game Boy Advance, but SEGA wanted to make the game "more 3D", resulting in the GBA version being scrapped entirely.
Franchise: Crash Bandicoot

Attachment A kart racer was planned to be released along side the cancelled "Crash Landed", the game was being lead by High Impact Games, a studio mostly comprised of former Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games employees. The game would have featured a number of returning characters, including Crash Bandicoot, Dingodile, and the long awaited return of Polar. A new character know simply as "Land Shark" was to be introduced. High Impact Games decided to introduce a dynamic kart modding system, in which the player could equip their character's kart with a number of crazy gadgets, including "Crab Tires" for good speed on sand, "Octopus Tires" to suction onto vertical surfaces, "Pig Engine" to belch their way to first place, and many more wacky gadgets. Unfortunately when Activision made the call to cancel "Crash Landed", the same went for this game.

Franchise: Spyro the Dragon

Attachment In 2007, a computer animated feature based on The Legend of Spyro was announced. The movie would have been based on the then recent Legend of Spyro trilogy, and was originally going to be released around Christmas 2009, but was later pushed back to a different release date and was eventually cancelled. Daniel Altiere, who was a writer on the movie, stated that the movie was officially cancelled due to decisions made by ##Activision## to go in a different direction with the Spyro series, likely making reference to the Skylanders series.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Ougon no Kaze

The game was originally going to have an international release, but was eventually cancelled due to unknown reasons. It's believed the cancellation was due to copyright issues surrounding the names of the characters' Stands, all of which are musical references (i.e Gold Experience is named after the Prince album of the same name).

Attachment Developer [urli=developer/factor5/]Factor 5[/urli] was working on a Star Wars Rogue Squadron trilogy for the original [urli=console/xbox/]Xbox[/urli] which would've included online multiplayer, however it was canceled due to a change in management at [urli=developer/lucasarts/]LucasArts[/urli] at the time.

After the development of Lair, they reworked the game for the [urli=console/wii/]Wii[/urli] named Star Wars: Rogue Leaders - Rogue Squadron Wii and added new play styles like piloting ships with the Wii wheel and the Wii Balance Board to control the pedals. Also Wii Motion Plus would've been used for 1:1 lightsaber battles with 20 characters to choose from and force powers. The game would've ran on Lair's graphics engine at 60 frames-per-second. The project was finished, however canceled again due to the 2008 financial crisis.
Kirby Family

Attachment A program titled "Kirby Family" (a spiritual successor of Mario Family) was planned to be released for the Game Boy Color. The game was showcased at Spaceworld 2001, but the plans to retail it outside of the event for 6,800 yen on September 10, 2001 were scrapped.
Hebereke no Pair Pair Wars

Attachment There were plans for a puzzle game titled Hebereke's Pair Pair Wars, in which the player would have to clear tiles by pairing them up. It was intended to be released around 1996 for the Neo Geo, but was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Attachment A sequel to Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble was being developed for the GameCube and was even shown at Spaceworld 2001. The game was supposed to demonstrate how the Game Boy Advance could be used with the GameCube as a controller. The game used a special cartridge in the Game Boy Advance to detect tilting. Kirby was removed as the mascot, and the game was reworked as 'Roll-o-Rama'. It's unknown why the project was cancelled.
Bulletstorm

A sequel to the game was planned, which was set to be "more insane" according to the game's director, Adrian Chmielarz. The idea was abandoned after the mediocre sales of the first title.

Attachment A graphic board peripheral was in development for the Master System which was going to be released in 1987. Players could draw using a fully editable 16 colors bitmap with a 176x144 pixel area. The software for the peripheral was being designed by Kazuo Wakihara who had worked on Columns. The graphic board would've also been compatible with the Genesis.
Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed originally started as a Prince of Persia Spin-Off, "Prince of Persia: Assassins". It was going to follow the events of a young Prince's female bodyguard as she escorts him through Jerusalem. The game was also going to feature co-op. However the game was cancelled when ##Ubisoft## heard the game was about the bodyguards and not the Prince himself.
Super Mario Spikers

Attachment After the launch of Mario Strikers Charged, Next Level Games had pitched to Nintendo a Mario volleyball game titled Super Mario Spikers. Referred to during development as simply Mario Volleyball, it was to be a mix of volleyball and wrestling mechanics, and was presented with hints of a TV game show. It was intended for the Wii and work began on it around the end of 2006. Development was canceled in 2007 after the pitch had failed with Nintendo. The game was financed as a reward from the studio's previous work on the Strikers games, and the volleyball mechanic was thought to have been reused for Mario Sports Mix.
