In 2004, a director's cut was released in which they fixed several bugs, as well as adding new features and two additional characters. The director's cut was the same as the copy released in North America and the PAL regions. This is why the back of the North American case states extra features.

You can fight Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile. She is located at the top of Sphere 211 after beating the main story line. She will use attacks from Valkyrie Profile, like Nibelung Valesti.

After beating the main story line and all the optional dungeons, you can fight Freya from Valkyrie Profile. Located at Crosell's Lair, unlike other bosses, you can fight her multiple times.
