This is believed to be a reference to "Solid Snake" from "Metal Gear series", a Konami related game.

In the beginning of the game, after you exit the elevator, head to the "green room" and you'll find a backpack and handheld game system. This is a reference to Chuck Greene's daughter, Katey Greene. She was supposed to wait in the "green room" for her father's return in "Dead Rising 2".

His bio reads that he chose to put his head in a jar to continue his support for the show Game Grumps and his career as an actor, a reference to the actor being a well-known fan of the series.

Vitas had also provided the voice for the character Dimmer Switch Prodigy Child in the game, and also served as a play tester.
