The initial Nintendo Switch release of the game featured erotic puzzle illustrations depicting various members of the cast mostly nude. This sexually explicit content resulted in the game being briefly delisted from the Nintendo eShop; consequently, when it was re-added via the v1.0.1 update, the artwork was modified to cover up the girls' breasts and crotches where applicable, additionally adjusting most of their poses. Despite this, the erotic elements of the illustrations are still mostly preserved, and the game's title is modified to the more overtly lascivious Hentai: Japanese Goblins. The original uncensored artwork is preserved in the PC edition of the game, released during the interim period where the game was unavailable on the eShop.
