As of March 2021, there are several mistakes, oversights, and omissions made by the "Move List" section of the pause menu. Some of them are as follows:

•Dr. Mario's Super Jump Punch (his Up Special) is described on his page as "hit[ting] repeatedly". however this is false as Dr. Mario's version hits only once at the start of the attack. Oddly, his base character, Mario, Has his version of the attack hit repeatedly but has a different description of the attack on his own page (the Tips menu corrects this).

•The text on Chrom and Roy's pages describing their counters says that both of the attacks send back the opponents attack "at greater force". However, while this is true in most situations, both counters have a cap of 60% damage that they cannot exceed or a minimum of 9.6% that they cannot go under.

•It says Isabelle's fishing rod grab can throw opponents up, down, or forward, with the menu making no mention of her being able to throw her foes backward with the same attack as well.

•King Dedede's Neutral Special description does not state that it can also automatically reflect projectiles, which is a new feature for the character in this game.

•Being a copy-paste of Simon's text, Richter's Holy Water descriptor states that it takes "fire" damage when his version of the attack actually has the "Aura" effect like Lucario's moves.

Attachment The Japanese and PAL region releases of Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir have exclusive bonus content that can be accessed after completing Story Mode by scanning an augmented reality marker on the back of the instruction manual to the Wii port of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, released only in Japan and PAL regions under the name Project Zero 2: Wii Edition. Scanning the marker will unlock models of Mio and Mayu Amakura as they appear in that game to view in Spirit Photography mode. Because the Wii port of Project Zero 2 was never released in North America, these models were made inaccessible in the North American release of Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir.

Unreal Tournament 2004

There is a message prompt that can be activated under seemingly impossible circumstances. Should a player manage to kill themselves with the sniper rifle weapon, a prompt will appear stating: "[Username] violated the laws of space time and sniped himself/herself."

Due to the sniper rifle being a hit-scan weapon (it will only fire exactly at where the mouse cursor is hovering) it is unknown if any legitimate means to achieve this scenario in-game without modding or hacking exist.

Unused text in the game's files indicates that at one point in development, the developers had considered including a "Statistics" menu which would keep track of an assortment of miscellaneous in-game information, as follows:

Number of enemies killed
Damage taken
Bolts spent on ammo
Shots fired
Damage dealt
Bolts spent on weapons
Nanomites (XP) earned
Time spent in Vid-Comics
Fastest play-through time
Number of objects broken
Time spent strafing

This feature was likely scrapped early in development as no menu textures exist for this screen nor any option related to it in the Pause menu.

Otane Goketsuji, the final boss of the game, has a set of unused quotes for when she loses unique to each fighter in the game (ordinarily you are taken to the ending when you defeat her).
Persona 5

There were files in the games coding containing unused cutscenes where the confidants would get mad at the protagonist if he didn't visit them often enough. If he visited them after a long absence and answer the confidants' questions incorrectly, their relationship would be in doubt (as seen by an upside down tarot card) and he would lose the benefits of that social link until their relationship was repaired, similar to certain social links in Persona 3 and Persona 4. The reason this feature was removed is unknown.
Grand Theft Auto IV

There are unused strings of text in The Lost And Damned referencing a cut mission for Stubbs. In the mission, Johnny had to blow up a truck with a bike armed with a bomb that would arm itself at 88mph, but would explode if your speed dropped below 88mph.

The mission may be a reference to the movie "Speed", which features a bus armed with a bomb that detonates if dropping to a certain speed. A mission with a similar concept was present in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

The original arcade release of The Idolmaster had several bad endings that were allegedly received by the first location play-testers so negatively that they were immediately taken out of the game. These endings are referred to as Death endings or "Z-ENDs" which can only be seen by earning a Z grade in the evaluation of an idol's performance, and involve the idols having a final meeting with the player to tell them they are giving up. The tone of each conversation varies with some idols frustratingly yelling at the player, while others will appear severely depressed.

The existence of these endings were considered an urban legend among the game's fans until 2014, when a volunteer for the now defunct fan localization website TLWiki found all of the intact Z-ENDs hidden in the data of the game's PlayStation Portable port The Idolmaster SP, and were later uploaded to Niconico. These endings were uploaded without an English translation, though archived text translations of every Z-END by TLWiki are available and included in the self-source tab.

In the prototype version of the game, Raidou is given an end card sequence, hinting that he would have been unlockable in the final version.

"After all, this is all it is."
A long time had passed since Raidou was expelled from the Mugen Tenshinryuu village. He had only hungered for power ever since. He fought all and every fighter and claimed his technique his own.
Even as he received the invitation to participate in the tournament, he felt this might sate his hunger for power.
However, it seems all was in vain.
Raidou called for thunder and disappeared into the mist...

There is an unused ending that exists within the game's code. The ending includes an image and text that reads: "Mister Data, set a course for Earth, Warp Factor Seven. Engage. (heh, heh, heh...)" "Man I bet I could really pick up the babes with this thing..." "Drinking all that soda...hmmm, I'm really not looking forward to seeing what Rigelatin bathrooms look like..."
NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC

The Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast versions of NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC contain secret text in their code that some may find to humorously juxtapose one another.

•The Nintendo 64 version contains the text "An Alan Smithee Game", referring to a pseudonym used by filmmakers to disown a project they don't want to be associated with.
•The Dreamcast version contains the text "Joe Rules", likely a signature referring to either programmer Joe Barnes, artist Joe Williamson, or both.

There is an unused race within the game's data called "Ghost". It has 50 health and is immune to suffocation damage. It's rumored that these were originally part of a scrapped event but they can be re-enabled by editing some of the game's files.

Attachment An unused CD graphic exists in the game's files. It is theorised that this belongs to an unused song, "Addicted To Bass", since there is a reference to it in the files.
