The King of Fighters XIII

There are audio files hidden within the game that feature English voices for most of the characters. Many of the voices are reused audio from The King of Fighters XII. However, characters who weren't in the previous game were also going to receive English voice dialogue. The English voices were not a feature in the final game.

In Baseball, when stepping on the home plate after getting a home run, Birdo, Daisy, Waluigi, Diddy Kong, Bowser, Metal Mario, and Pink Gold Peach will cheer. The rest of the characters in the game will not do this, suggesting that implementing cheers for every character was overlooked during development.

Attachment An unused song can be found in the data for Dino Crisis 2's demo disc that, although being slightly rearranged, bears an uncanny resemblance to the "Ground Theme" from Super Mario Bros.

The ambient crowd chatter that plays in the background of the Second Militia city area has an additional sound clip in the Japanese release of a woman interjecting with "aww" at random points. This sound is removed in the English localization of the game.
Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time

In the game's files, an animatic for a scrapped minigame based on the biblical story of Noah's Ark exists. Two Rabbids are sent to the setting of the book of Genesis, falling into a raincloud that turns dark from their fighting, triggering the flood and then launching each one into two separate arks, with one housing dinosaurs. It is unknown why this minigame was scrapped, but it was likely to avoid controversy due to the sacrilegious nature of the animatic.

The Japanese version contains mostly-finished data for the English localization of the game, which was still unfinished by the time it was released in Japan. By using a hack to trick the game into running in English, most text files and voice lines will be in English, and the controls will change to reflect the NA/PAL standard. However, the cutscenes will still be the uncensored Japanese animations with their respective original lip-syncing, and Roxas will use older voice clips from the original Kingdom Hearts II instead of the final English release which uses voice clips from Ventus from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep instead.

The original arcade release of The Idolmaster had several bad endings that were allegedly received by the first location play-testers so negatively that they were immediately taken out of the game. These endings are referred to as Death endings or "Z-ENDs" which can only be seen by earning a Z grade in the evaluation of an idol's performance, and involve the idols having a final meeting with the player to tell them they are giving up. The tone of each conversation varies with some idols frustratingly yelling at the player, while others will appear severely depressed.

The existence of these endings were considered an urban legend among the game's fans until 2014, when a volunteer for the now defunct fan localization website TLWiki found all of the intact Z-ENDs hidden in the data of the game's PlayStation Portable port The Idolmaster SP, and were later uploaded to Niconico. These endings were uploaded without an English translation, though archived text translations of every Z-END by TLWiki are available and included in the self-source tab.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

In "The Siren's Deception", the player would have only been fought by 2 of the women in Gweden Farm, with the third, Faustina, fleeing to the basement. There, the player would have had multiple dialogue options with her, and ultimately been able to spare her. In the final game, you must fight all 3 women on the first floor with no option to spare any of them. These lines were found in the German version of the game.

There is unused dialogue for Elven, Nord, Breton, and Redguard city guards that go unused due to all city guards being Imperials. The only exception to this being quest specific NPCs who are city guards of a race other than Imperial.

Horses were originally meant to be purchased through an in-game menu like other items in the game. In the final game, they are purchase through dialogue options. There exist unused lines for these purchases, "Need a new mount?" and "Looking to buy a horse? I have some fine animals for sale."

In the E3 1999 demo of Sonic Adventure, Knuckles had a very different voice. This was the same voice actor, but they re-recorded nearly all of his lines before the game's release. Surprisingly, voices for his entire story were included, even though the demo only had two stages for Knuckles.

Unused voice lines for NPCs exist mentioning "Hearts Day" and "New Life Festival". These are both holidays that existed in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. It's possible Bethesda meant for the holiday system and these specific holidays to return in Oblivion, before being cut. Additionally, Pete Hines mentions in an interview that these holidays were to be present in an unreleased DLC.

Within the game's files are voice clips for five unused Create-a-Soul classes. These clips can only be heard in-game via mods or hacking. The unused classes are Noble, Scared Fighter, Beastmaster (Ranger), Clown, and Great Warrior.
