One of the few titles released specifically for the Commodore 64 Games System (C64 GS) was a port of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The game's cartridge and advertising stated that it was fully compatible with the original Commodore 64, the 64C redesign, and the C64 GS. However, in both the standalone cartridge and the Triple Pack version, starting the game required the player to press a key on their keyboard, as was standard for the previous C64 models. The C64 GS used a joystick with one trigger button and did not come with a keyboard, rendering it unplayable on that console.
