In the Windows PC version, there exists several maps within the game's files that go unused. When loaded in game, none of the area's warps can be used and the player cannot interact with anything. The menu also lists an unused mini game title called "TEIKOI Game". It is unclear what type of game this would have been as when loaded into the game the map is nothing but a blank screen.

Spoiler:The scene where Artorius kills Laphicet was changed for the Western release. Instead of stabbing him directly in the chest, Artorius sacrifices Laphicet through a magical ceremony.
